3 Definining Traits of Natural Born Leaders.
1. Unyielding Sense of Duty and Responsibility* one of the strongest indicator that you are a natural born leader is shown in your unwavering commitment to work, assigned task and your vision. They have a clear sense of purpose and direction, they don't wait to be pushed, they are generally intuitive and self inspired. They are proactive, they don't wait for the problem to occur, they anticipate them and seek ways to curb or eliminate them. They take ownership for their team's failures, they know what to do and when to do it without being pushed and excuses are their enemy.
2. Mastery of People Management* A natural leader is one who understands and has mastered the two vertical lines of people management; whether you work in a structured environment , you are in business or serve in public capacity, there are two vertical flows of relationship that exists, one is to management and the other to your subordinates, for the business man, it is between the customers and his employees. So natural born leader has mastered the emotional intelligence required to manage the one above him and the one below him. They can understand and relate to others with empathy. While their demands and expectations may be rigorous,
this quality fosters a balance that endears them to those within these vertical lines.
3. Charismatic and Decisive* Natural leaders exude a magnetic charm that draws people to them, not out of mere attraction, but because they embody a persona that inspires greatness. They do not shy away from making tough decisions, they are decisive and efficient; always ready to make the call that others might hesitate to make.
