Text : Deuteronomy 6: 1 - 6
Topic: commitment
To start with, what is commitment: commitment is the state or quality of being dedicated to a course,, activity etc.
But I like this Cambridge dictionary definition. Commitment is a promise to give yourself, your money, your time etc to support.
As a child of God will must know that our commitment must be into the Lord our maker. if you are committed to any other things apart from God it means you are against the purpose of God and God can't be happy with you.
God need you, your time and your substance.nd to be committed you must give him all this to get his attention too. Because when you are committed to Him , He's also committed to you. God is a jealous god ,he doesn't want to seer you with anybody. And know this you can't serve two masters.

How can you be committed to God
* Take away your own choice
* Do it with your entire being
* Make sure you are fully seeking God
* Let your eyes be single
* Love god with all your heart
* Study the word of God every day
* Be prayerful
In this wonderful year let us be committed to He that called us with all our being and you will have a good success.
May the lord give us grace to be committed to Him in Jesus name. God bless you see you next Sunday.

Topic: Thanksgiving
Text: Luke 17: 11 - 19
God created you for is purpose not your purpose. All things, you need to return the glory back to him.
In this text, is about the healing of the lepers that Jesus healed. Remember ,ten of were healed and is only one that return to the master to say thank you. That is to say there are two categories of people:
1. The greatful
2. The ungrateful
The grateful one return to say thank you for healing me , and the master said to him " Arise, go thy way:thy faith hath made thee whole". when you return to the Lord with the heart of Thanksgiving for the things he has done for you, you will be made whole.
Let see what Jesus says about the other 9 that never returned to say thank you. Vs 17 .
And Jesus answering said, were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
That is to say, Jesus want them to returned back with the heart of thanksgiving, but the are ungrateful to him . From January to December God has been watching over you, are you greatful to him or you are complaining? which group are you?
Before you can get increase in your life, you must have the heart of thanksgiving.
Remember, what prayer brings, wisdom will keep it, but thanksgiving multiplies it. So appreciation is the qualification of multiplication.
Jesus feed 5,000 soul's with thanksgiving.
He raise Lazarus from dead with thanksgiving. So if you live a life of thanksgiving you will be God's favourite. God will give you the heart of thanksgiving in Jesus name
