*THE TRANSFORMING POWER OF DAILY FELLOWSHIP Part 2*
There is a vast difference between relationship with God and fellowship with God. It is possible to be in a relationship with God and don't be in fellowship with Him, but it is not possible to be in fellowship with God and not have a relationship with Him, because fellowship with God is built on the foundation of relationship with God. Salvation brings us into a relationship with God, but it is our fellowship with Him that will strengthen, sweeten and beautify our relationship with Him.
The reason why the Christian life of many believers is frustrating, tiring, stagnant and boring is because they have neglected fellowship with God even though they are in a relationship with Him. Being born again is not the end of the Christian life, it is only the start and fellowship with God is the fuel that powers the christian life.
In Luke 10:38-42, we see an interesting story between Jesus, Mary and Martha. There is so much to learn from that story. One of the lesson to learn is from the life of Martha. She was the the one that RECEIVED JESUS into the house Luke 10:38, Just like how many believers have received Jesus into their life, but she neglected fellowship with Jesus. She was so engrossed with SERVICE TO JESUS and she neglected FELLOWSHIP WITH JESUS.
In conclusion, Jesus is more interested in your daily fellowship with Him than your service to Him. It is possible to be engrossed in service to God and you abandon your fellowship with Him, but it is not possible to be engrossed in fellowship with God and don't be engrossed in service to Him. I encourage you to priotise your daily fellowship with God than anything else and you won't regret it at all.
Point : Father, please help me to prioritise my fellowship with you more than anything else in Jesus name, Amen!
