NIGERIA AT 66: MY SCRIPTURAL DECLARATIONS

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” Psalm 33:12

As Nigeria celebrates 66 years of independence, I stand on God's Word and declare:

I declare righteousness over Nigeria! For righteousness exalts a nation (Proverbs 14:34).

I declare peace in every region! The Lord shall establish peace within our borders (Psalm 122:6).

I declare healing and restoration! As we seek God's face, He will hear our prayers and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

I declare that Nigerian youths shall arise! They shall be strengthened to build, innovate, lead, and fulfil God's purpose for this nation (Isaiah 60:1).

I declare prosperity and progress! May the peace and welfare of Nigeria become the portion of her people (Jeremiah 29:7).

Nigeria shall not fail in her divine assignment. I declare that my nation shall be a blessing to Africa and the world. Her future shall be filled with peace, righteousness, justice, and hope!

“Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end.” Isaiah 9:7

"A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak." - Ecclesiastes 3:7 (NLT)

There is a time to be silent and a time to speak; and wisdom is knowing which time it is. We are usually better at one than the other. Some of us speak when we should be silent; others are silent when we should speak. Both errors cause damage.

Speaking when you should listen destroys trust. Staying silent when you should speak allows injustice, misunderstanding, or fear to grow unchecked. Wisdom discerns or identifies the difference.

When should you be silent? When your words would add fuel to a fire, when you do not have enough information, when your motive is to impress rather than to help, or when the other person needs space to process.

When should you speak? When truth needs defending, when someone needs encouragement, when silence would be complicity, or when God is prompting you to share.

Today, before you speak or stay silent, ask God which time it is. The right word at the wrong time is still the wrong word.

Wisdom is as much about timing as it is about content.
