*MORNING DEW: THURSDAY 30TH, APRIL, 2026*

*GOOD MORNING, BELOVED OF THE LORD.*

*MESSAGE TITLE: AVOID BEING HASTY*

*MAIN TEXT:*
*”Desire without knowledge is not good— how much more will hasty feet miss the way!“*
_(https://bible.com/bible/111/pro.19.2.NIV)_
*”The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.“*
_(https://bible.com/bible/111/pro.21.5.NIV)_

*MESSAGE*
_*”Hasty” or “Haste” is a word we sometimes use joyfully. We sometimes say “I am in haste to catch the bus”, especially when we consider that we are running late for a program or work. With our ‘African Time’ mentality, especially in Nigeria, people are often in haste to meet up with activities when they are running late. The Bible, however, does not consider the word haste or hasty as a pleasant word or action that we should follow. When you are in haste you can never come up with good solutions or judgment on a matter. A person who is hasty, most often, is not thoughtful as he act too quickly without careful thought.*_

_in our main scripture, we are told that hasty feet’s leads to poverty, and that when we act hastily we are most certainly going to miss the way. The TPT puts it more succinctly “The best way to live is with revelation-knowledge, for without it, you’ll grow impatient and run right into error.” (https://bible.com/bible/1849/pro.19.2.TPT). When you act hastily you are prone to error in your decisions_

_*As foolish as foolishness, the Bible says there is more hope for a fool than one who is hasty in his words. (Prov. 29:20). Always give careful consideration to whatever you want to do before doing it. Hasty decisions are, most often, devoid of knowledge and it is not good. This is why those who are hasty miss the way and end up in poverty. But for a moment of thoughtful consideration the Prodigal son would have missed his way completely after hastily grabbing his inheritance from his father. It is your diligent plans, therefore, that will lead to profit in your vocation and not your hasty decisions*_

_*PRAYERS*_
*Lord Jesus, I am aware that you were not hasty in any of your decisions. You carefully followed the plan of salvation, diligently, until you arrived at the cross where you paid the ultimate sacrifice. Impart unto me the grace to be diligent and to give careful consideration before taking any action, in your mighty name. Amen 🙏🏿_*

MESSAGE
“Conscience is an open wound only truth can heal it’ - Uthman Dan Fodio. The importance of a healthy conscience can not be over emphasized. Not much was told us about the state of mind of Cain, but it is quite astonishing how he lost control of himself to kill his brother just because God had respect for his offering. Cain obviously had lost control of his conscience to the extent of even ignoring the warnings of God that sin was lurking around to take control over him. Instead of thanking God for a good advice he continues being angry at the rejection of his sacrifice. He soul was downcast!

Our conscience has been given to us to warn us by sounding the alarm whenever we want to go off the cliff. Ignoring the alarm anytime it rings will make it meaningless to us when we hear it’s sound in the morning. Acting against the alarm is like acting against your conscience when it gives you the signal that your action is out of normal: a symptom of a corrupt conscience. To keep our conscience working correctly every time we need to put it under the control of the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus tells us that “When he comes, “he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment” (John 16:8). When you are filled with the Spirit your conscience will be at its best performance because He will keep our conscience consistently conscious of sin, righteousness and judgment. Keep your conscience healthy by being filled with the Holy Spirit, because as many as are led by the Spirit they are the sons of God (Roms. 8:14)

PRAYERS
Lord Jesus, I thank you for giving us the Holy Spirit as our guard against any form of inconsistencies of our conscience. May I obey the leading of the Holy Spirit daily even as I yield to Him, in Jesus mighty name, amen 🙏🏿

*”let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.“*

MESSAGE
We often hear people say “a clear conscience fears no accusations”. Some people go about with a “guilty conscience” on a daily basis. While some with a ‘clear conscience’. Standing before the high priest, Ananias, Apostle Paul told him “I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day”. Paul, standing before his accusers was bold enough to tell then that his conscience was clear before God.

What, if I may ask, is conscience? Your conscience is that inner part of your mind that makes judgement on your behavior and actions on a daily basis. Our conscience can either condemn us or approve of what we have done. Like Paul said, his conscience was clear before God.

In Romans 9:1 the Apostle Paul said ”I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit.” Our conscience has been given to us to bear witness to whatever we are doing. It helps us to check whether what we are doing is right or wrong. However, there are those who engage in wrong behavior or actions but their conscience does not have the capacity, anymore, to condemn them. Such people have their conscience seared (1Timothy 4:2). When your conscience is seared it has become cauterized- rendered insensitive. It can no longer tell whether what you are doing is right or wrong. Your conscience, is therefore sick and needs healing

PRAYERS
Lord Jesus, I stand before you this morning with a clear conscience, desirous of maintaining that clear conscience before you daily. May I never come to the point where doing evil will seem good in my eyes, in your mighty name, amen 🙏🏿

*In the Book of Matthew we read about the beautiful story of how Peter, one of the key Apostles of Jesus, walked on water when he saw the Lord walking towards their boat while at sea. The narrative states that “Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. (Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭NLT‬‬: https://bible.com/bible/116/mat.14.28-29.NLT). But the story didn’t end there. The Bible states that “But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. (https://bible.com/bible/116/mat.14.30.NLT)*

_Apostle Peter began to sink when he took his gaze from the Lord and fixed it on the waves. But the sea wave was there at the time he asked the Lord to bid him come to Him. _The trouble with trouble is that trouble is always visible. The temptation is there to fix our attention on that which we see. However, Apostle Paul tells us that hope that is seen is not hope at all. As Paul asked rhetorically, who hopes for what he can already see? If you desire healing fix your gaze not on your failing health, but on Jesus, who is our healer. As you fix your gaze on the provider of the solution you seek, the things that surround you (sickness, lack, affliction, troubles etc.) will all become shadow in the light of His presence in your life._

*The truth is that the things you see now that are troubling you will soon be gone. That sickness will go. Your lack will come to an end. MESSAGE:
Katerina was well loved by both male and female in her local Assembly. She mingled freely with everyone and was a very dedicated member of the Church. She was engaged to be married to the Music director of the ministry as they had both completed their pre-marital classes. It was not uncommon to see Katrina and James together as they went about their upcoming marriage preparation. In one of those visitation to the home of James, he threw caution to the wind as they found themselves in an awkward embrace that sent their adrenaline rushing at them. Before you could say jack they were both in bed having s*x. It was after the tension in them cooled off that they realized the gravity of their actions. Katrina bowed her head in shame as she started sobbing. She knew there was no way what transpired that evening would not get to the pastoral team. She made up her mind to report herself to the senior pastor, who was devastated when she told him.

In accordance with rules in the ministry she was suspended from serving in her department for 6 months, while the upcoming marriage was put on hold. Everywhere she turned in church two pairs of eyes 👀 were always steering at her. After about two months of serving her punishment she could not bear the humiliating looks. She made up her mind and walked away from fellowship, preferring to remain at home instead of going through humiliation by those who ought to love her.

Our main test for today admonished that we should overlook the mistakes of others in love. The Living Bible says “Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.” (https://bible.com/bible/116/pro.17.9.NLT). In the Book of Romans 15:1, Apostle Paul admonished that those who are strong spiritually should bear with the scruples or failures of the weak amongst us. Also in Galatians 6:1, Apostle Paul wrote “Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.”

As believers we should not be too hard on the weak amongst us. Some, because we could not bear with them, have left the faith and gone back to the world. We must allow room for growth in the body of Christ, as we are not all at the same level of spiritual growth.

Concealing or overlooking an offense does not imply ignoring sin but rather choosing not to dwell on minor grievances, thereby reflecting the biblical principle of love covering a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). We must learn not to kill the wounded ‘soldiers’ amongst us. Our times are in His hands. With little encouragement, that same weak brother, will become a mighty seed in the Hands of the Lord.

PRAYERS
Heavenly Father I thank you for your sacrifice for our sins. You died and rose for the justification of sinners. May I not be the reason why a brother or sister will return back to the world. Teach me to show love to the weak in the Body as I encourage them to become spiritually strong. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen 🙏

*MESSAGE:*
*God is the one who decides what happens to you and not the devil or anyone else. Some people think that it is Satan or some forces that controls their destinies but scriptures make me to understand that God is the one working everything around you according to the counsel of His will and not the devil because your times are in His hands. Joseph in prison would have concluded that his dream about the sun, moon and stars bowing down to him may just be mere dream after all because the circumstances of his life at that material time did now align with that expectation. So all he wanted was a chance to be freed from the dungeon and then get out of Egypt into the safe hands of his father. But God was working everything according to the counsel of His will.*

_*All things will eventually work out for your good because it is still God who is behind the scene working out your destiny. The present light affliction you are going through will end up bringing out the best in you. The road to glory may not be smooth always but it will still lead you to glory. Your peers may be way ahead of you in life, but remember that life is not a competition. We came separately and will sure leave separately, so why compare yourself with others? God Will safety land you where He has planned for you in the fullness of time. Therefore do not fret, because your times are in His Hands.*_

Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.: _(Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬: https://bible.com/bible/114/mat.4.18-19.NKJV)

MESSAGE
In Daniel Dafoe’s Robinson Crusoe, we saw how an adventurous Robinson, after he was shipwrecked on an Island, lived a lonely life until fate brought him a man he named Friday. The arrival of Friday into his life changed everything about him as he now had a companion he could plan. Eventually, they both plotted their way out of the isolated Island.

Our Lord Jesus, shortly after his baptism and temptation, went about choosing those who would be with Him. The twelve disciples, alongside many other faithful and loyal followers, were critical towards the fulfillment of His earthly ministry. As long as we are here on this earth we will need men. Two, the Bible says, are better than one because they have a good reward for their labour. The scripture went on to say that “For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to lift him up. (Ecclesiastes‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬: https://bible.com/bible/114/ecc.4.9-10.NKJV.)

If our Lord needed men in His life and ministry, know that you can not do without men. You need men to lift you up when you fall, just the same way if you work in conjunction with other like minded men, you are bound to have a good reward for your labour. Know that on your own you are grossly inadequate to bring to pass God’s best for your life. But it is important, however, that Christ be the source and centre of every partnership we enter into so that negative forces do not pull us apart in the end

PRAYERS
1. *Pray for God to lead you by His Spirit to like minded people that will partner you in your life’s journey*
2. *Pray that God will keep negative forces away from your relationship. That God will keep you all in oneness in the Spirit*
3. *Pray that God will favour you and those partnering with you to bring out the best in you.*
*in Jesus mighty name. Amen 🙏🏿

GOOD MORNING, BELOVED OF THE LORD.

MESSAGE TITLE: BE AT ALERT ALWAYS

MAIN TEXT
*”Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.”
‭‭_1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬: https://bible.com/bible/111/1pe.5.8-9.NIV_

MESSAGES
Resisting the Devil is a direct command to believers in Christ, and I dare add, to nonbelievers too, because what you don’t resist will ultimately control you. In the Book of James at chapter 4, James said “So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will flee in agony.” (https://bible.com/bible/1849/jas.4.7.TPT). Resisting mean standing up to the Devil and his schemes over your live. The Lord Jesus Christ told us the main thing the Devil came to do: “To kill, steal and destroy”. Why allow what will steal from you, kill or destroy you to rule over you? If you don’t resist him he will ultimately ruin your destiny.

The Devil is the main adversary of man. He comes subtly to rub you of your future. But the truth is you have a choice. He can’t steal from you, kill or destroy you without you allowing him. You may say I will just stand there and do nothing. If you do nothing about him, he will do something destructive to your peace and happiness; he will destroy you. The only way to stop him is by standing up to him, resisting him. This was what Joseph did in Genesis. The Devil came in to him through Mrs. Potiphar, who wanted him to sleep with her so that he can gain control of the entire household of Potiphar. Now, wait for this: God actually wanted Joseph to gain control and rule the whole of Egypt. But the Devil came offering him just Potiphar’s household! Joseph knew better, as he fled from her. His fleeing preserved God’s plan for his life. Every time the Devil defeats you, he takes you out of the will of God. To stay within God’s will, therefore, you must constantly resist the Devil.

That your toxic habit that you have refused to give up might be the Devil’s subtle way of taking you out of the will of God. God told Cain in Genesis “….Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” (https:/ bible.com/bible/114 gen.4.6-7.NKJV). Cain was the one to rule over his anger problem, not God. You are the one to rule over the schemes of the Devil over your life. Give no room to the Devil. Don’t let his desires rule over you. If you win the battle over the Devil, the Lord will accept you, and all His plans over your life will surely come to pass.

PRAYERS
Lord Jesus,as I thank you for your words to me today. I know that your plans towards me is that I may have life and have it more abundantly. Grant me the grace and boldness to stand against every schemes of the Devil over my life. May I discern every of his moves to control me and destroy my destiny, in Jesus mighty name. Amen 🙏🏿

MESSAGE TITLE: DEVELOP A POSITIVE MINDSET

MAIN TEXT
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”*_(Philippians 4:8 NKJV: https://bible.com/bible/114/php.4.8.NKJV)

MESSAGE
Where is your focus right now? If you find yourself full of fear or worry, dwelling on your difficult past, or mussing about missed opportunities, know that you are only compounding your problems. If you are in the above scenario then you need attitudinal change. You need to renew your mindset. Jesus said we should “take no thought”. Thought leads to worrying and no one increases in strength by worrying. Yes we all know right now that things may the difficult, especially for the middle class and the poor. But remember that the Bible says weeping endures for a night. Meaning the difficult conditions you may be experiencing will pass. So don’t dwell on the challenges. It can send you to an early grave! It gradually destroys anyone indulging in it from the inside out.

Have a positive attitude and good self image always. Do not be the type that thinks nothing good will ever happen to him/her. Apostle Paul encouraged himself when he said “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 NKJV: https://bible.com/bible/114/php.4.13.NKJV). Your past is passed! So forget it and move on. Your future is before you, embrace it with a positive mental attitude. Know that His thoughts towards you are still thoughts of peace and not of evil, leading to His predetermined end for your life. Your best is yet to come!

PRAYERS
I pray for you today that you will forget your past and all the bad memories it may still hold over you. That you will reach forth unto those things which are before, press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ, in Jesus mighty name. Amen 🙏🏿

For most believers, however, after our redemption and conversion we must live out the Christian faith here on earth. Apostle Paul, in our main scripture, acknowledged that he was once a persecutor, blasphemer and a violent man. But where sin abound grace abound much more (Roms. 5:20). The old Saul now had to live a completely changed life because of the grace of God poured on him.

Every sinner turned believer in Christ has this same grace poured on us to enable us manifest as true sons and daughters of Him who called us out of darkness into His light. As lights we must shine forth wherever it has pleased Him to locate us here on earth. Live that changed life daily, as a true light of the world

PRAYERS
*Lord Jesus, I thank you for the new life I have in you. Thank you for the grace and power you have given me to manifest as your light here on earth. May I continue to shine everywhere I go, in Your mighty name. Amen 🙏🏿
