SPIRITUAL RECONFIGURATION AND DISCIPLINE

Word Capsule: "But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified." (1 Corinthians 9:27)

THE CAPSULE

Greetings of victory, in Jesus' name!

Welcome to a new week; may the Lord make your heart new for Him. Whatever has been strategically positioned to pollute your heart this week will be averted, in Jesus' name!

Spiritual reconfiguration or realignment is possible through discipline. A child of God who lives a life of indiscipline can be lost in the journey of faith.

The flesh will always fight every believer, and that is why we must be disciplined not to succumb to the flesh, because the flesh is one of the enemies of reconfiguration.

Some may ask, is it possible to live above sin in this world that is full of sins? The answer is that it is possible through the help of the Holy Spirit as we discipline ourselves daily in our walk with God.

Apostle Paul had to discipline himself and put himself under subjection in order to align with the purpose and plan of God for his life as a preacher of the gospel.

Believers are not expected to live a loose life to maintain our stand with God. David lived a loose life, and he ended up committing adultery. We expose ourselves to the antics of the enemy when we become loose in how we live our lives.

Where we go, the friends we keep, what we say, and many more should be guided by discipline. People who are not disciplined in where they go, the friends they keep, and what they say end up going out of alignment.

Spiritual discipline is the practical, daily engine that powers this transformation; without it, reconfiguration is just temporary inspiration.

Discipline bridges the gap between the person we are and the person we are becoming. So, without discipline, it is difficult to grow to the fullest measure of Christ.

Jesus Christ disciplined himself by enduring the cross and despising the shame, and this attitude of his earned him a name that is above every other name.

Dearly beloved, we must imbibe the culture of spiritual discipline to live a reconfigured life and stay in tune with the Master.

MY PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY
May every spirit of indiscipline not take you away from the Lord!

PRAYER POINTS
Father, help me to be disciplined in my day-to-day activities, in Jesus' name!

Father, give the spirit of discipline to say no when I am to say no and yes when I am to say yes, in Jesus' name!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
The Lord will empower you with grace for discipline, in Jesus' name!
