Secrets of Mighty Men Pt 2

Arrows in the hand of A mighty Man (Psalm 127:4)

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you place a gun in the hand of a little unlearned child? Your imagination is as good as mine. That is the same thing we do when we ask God to arm us with power without training. The bible speaking about Abraham in Gen. 14:14: And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. Take note of that statement: "Armed his trained servants"

The gap that exist between a child and a man is called training (Read Prov. 22:6). Training can be gained through experience. Go through the process God has ordained for you, your training is to mould you into the blueprint of God's preordained destiny for you. It is through process you build capacity to last. Some process may not be pleasing, but be exercised in it dear friend. Jesus learnt obedience by the things he suffered. Your own PIT Experience today might be God's ordained Process-In-Time (PIT) to make you an envy tomorrow. It is true that nobody envies a man in a pit (rather he is pitied and even mocked). Friend, they can mock you but God is surely making a MASTERPIECE out of you When you have undergone that pit experience you will ascend to your mountain top by the strength of a mighty man and become the envy of your world.

However, You need Joy (which is a fruit of the Spirit) to be able to endure the training process. Jesus endured the cross because of the Joy set before Him (Heb. 12:2)

God trains his Mighty men intentionally.

(Secrets of Mighty Men) Pt. 1

Gideon in the bible (Judges 6) was referred to as a "Mighty man of valour" by the Lord. But Gideon never saw himself from God's lens. He had heard of God's mighty deliverance (From an historic standpoint) but was yet to experience The God of The Israelites. Hence, the Lord said (Me paraphrasing): "*With this testimony you have of what God had done in time past, Go (forward) in this might and see my salvation now"* but there was still a major thing that would hinder Gideon from fulfilling the greatest purpose of his life and destiny... [FEAR]

Remember, He was raised with a people who had made sinning against God a culture and fear had possessed their hearts. So they hid themselves away from the Midianites in caves, mountains and dens. Gideon was not excluded, it was in his hiding he encountered God (who has not given the redeemed the spirit of fear... 2 Tim. 1:7). And when the Lord commissioned him to Go in this might, that he responded: "Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.

I bring you a charge this day, You are destined as a Mighty man to do great things for God, don't allow your background or fear of the unknown limit you. Go forward and don't look back friend. The earnest expectations of the creature is waiting for your manifestation (Rom. 8:19)

FEAR can result due to:

F - Future uncertainties
E- Experiences of the past
A- Attention deviation from God's word.
R- Repeated Failure

Someone defined Fear as *False Evidence Appearing Real*. Get The real evidence (TRUTH) from God's word. God's word produces the substantial evidence called Faith (Heb. 11:1, Rom. 10: 17) and It is "Faith" that overcomes "Fear" (fear is The world's number one best selling product, 1 John 5:4).

Build your faith and demolish your fear.

The year 2023 has come to an end. Different experiences for different people. In all of these, God has been faithful and deserves the glory. It is important we know what God is saying concerning 2024, prepare and plug into the year 2024. The sons of Issachar understood the times and they knew what Israel ought to do and all their brethren were at their command (1 Chron. 12:32).
The year 2024 is a year where believers must intentionally strive to become Mighty men in stature in order to:

1. Arise and contend earnestly for your heritage like Caleb (Joshua 14) who at 85 years, was still very strong and ready to take the mountain he obtained by promise when he was 40 years old. He was a mighty man who refused to be affected by societal standards. May you receive strength to possess your mountains regardless of what society is saying (And that includes every of the 7 mountains of human influence God had ordained you to ascend and raise his banner over). Grow to the point you become a man of conviction, not conforming to the world standard. Conformity is the enemy of originality.

2. Arise and Go in this your might. There is a mandate and an assignment God has placed upon our lives. For so many this year *2024* is that year you need to take a bold step of faith and obedience. God is saying to you like He said to Gideon " Go in this thy might". You never thought you had what it takes to accomplish that God-ordained vision, dream or goal. You looked at what you have done or where you are coming from and feel you can't do much for God. God is saying The same thing to you this year "GO in this Might". Your generation is waiting for you to arise. The ernest expectations of creation waits for your manifestation. To "Go" means you have been empowered to go out for souls, it means you have been endued with power to conquer territories. Are you ready for missions?. Remember He calls men to make them first as vessels that would ensure or last before sending them. Scriptures say he called them to be with him and that He might send them. Being with Him is prerequisite to the commissioning to go out.

3. Arise and shine (Isaiah 60: 1): Mighty men made by God have these attributes:
M - Mercy-obtained (Heb. 4:16)
I - Integrity-driven (Psalm 12:1)
G- Gifted ( Prov. 18:16)
H - Humble (1 Pet. 5:6)
T - Trained (Gen. 14:14, Psalm 127:4)
Y - Yielded ( 2 Tim. 2:21)

Such men are ordained to shine in any generation (Mat. 5:16). Mighty men are men who have light. Because the people who sit in darkness are waiting for the arrival of light. Light ushers in rejoicing. Many will rejoice over your arrival to their territory in Jesus name.

So this year, Our theme is: *The Manifestation of Mighty Men* (2 Sam. 23:8-39, Judges 6:11-16, Psalm 127:4 & Rom. 8:19)

We encourage you to begin this year and remain *consistent* to see this come through in your life.

Instructions for the year:
1. Pray seriously* so you don't become a prey. It's a year for the strong and mighty. The gates of territories only open up to mighty men (Psalm 24). I am convinced that many, if not all will be engaged in Corporate Church fastings. Please be a part of your local church fasting scheduled for the beginning of the year, if your church doesn't subscribe to such, be led by the Spirit of God on what He would have you do. But please enter the year prayerfully.

2 Be seriously committed to Kingdom advancement* (Reaching out to souls, intercessions, Givings, Stewardship and as divinely instructed)

3. Make your secret place a dwelling place*. (Psalm 91:1). It's your place of empowerment. It is they that wait upon the Lord that shall be strengthened. Keep beholding until you become like Christ (He is our Standard).

4. Let this year be your own year of intentional sacrifice*. (Psalm 50:5) There is a dimension of God we may never see until we begin to transact with God on the altar of sacrifice. Many believers have not yet come into that realm and dealing yet. Let's make this *That Intentional Year*

5. Place value on destiny-defining relationships*. Find and mind your *company*. Who you company with determines what accompanies your life and destiny. Samson was a mighty man but died without honour and without vision as if he was never anointed because he never had people he submitted to, was accountable to or related with. Learn from Samson (There is a reason why they're called Mighty Men). Please find strength among God's people (The bible says "They" go from strength to strength... Psalm 84:7) Belong to a family of God's trusted people. Have someone or few persons you can walk, run and fly together with this year. Please read 2 Sam. 23.

God bless you. If you have read to this point, I am convinced you are ready to pay the price for the prize you so desire in this year 2024. God will grant you grace to finish strong. You will finish 2024 strong in Jesus name🙏🏽
