HEARING FROM GOD AND LIVING HIS WILL

AMP:And now, O Lord God, You are God, and Your words are truth, and You have promised this good thing to Your servant. 2 Samuel 7:28.
To hear from God is basic for a Christian because if there is no voice speaking or leading you, it means that you are either lost in your journey or you are busy walking astray to the destination meant for another. A business man who has a business appointment in New York but boards a flight heading Washington unknowingly would get to a destination but definitely not where his business is waiting for him. This is similar to a Christian who might be zealous but works or runs without a spiritual leading, he suffers and struggles and at the end of the day he misses the rewards.
Many have worked on another man's field, thinking that it is their place of assignment. They till the ground, plant their seeds, watch the seeds grow and they celebrate without knowing that it is not where their place of reward lies. If an employee in McDonald's I quote, leaves his work and goes to labor in another company without a formal appointment to that, he has no rightful reward or benefits there.
