SUNDAY SERVICE HIGHLIGHT
With Elder John Agada

“The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength”
📖 *Nehemiah 8:10*

If we truly follow Jesus, then we must also imitate Him.

As believers, God has made available wells we must continually draw from:

* The Well of Salvation (Isaiah 12:3)
* The Well of Joy
* The Well of Love
* The Well of Praises
* The Well of Prayer
* The Well of Holiness (Romans 12:1)

Holiness is not optional—it fights battles on your behalf.

The Joy of the Lord is not ordinary happiness—it is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23).
It sustains us, strengthens us, and keeps us focused on God in our race (Hebrews 12:2).

Even in adversity, saints like Job and Jacob held on—this is the posture every believer must adopt.

How do we walk in this joy?
✔ Maintain a positive outlook (Proverbs 15:13)
✔ Follow the voice of the Lord
✔ Study and know the Word deeply (Philippians 3:10)
✔ Be born again (John 3:3)
✔ Understand your identity in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21)
✔ Stay in God’s presence (Psalm 16:11)
✔ Walk in the consciousness of victory (1 Corinthians 15:27)
✔ Obey God’s commandments

KEY TAKEAWAY:
If you are not rooted, you will be uprooted.

Remain grounded in Christ. Draw daily from His wells.
Let His joy be your strength—always.
