[9]"Then Jacob said, “O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, the Lord who said to me, ‘Return to your country and to your family, and I will deal well with you’:

[10]I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies and of all the truth which You have shown Your servant; for I crossed over this Jordan with my staff, and now I have become two companies".

And Thus has the Glooorious God expressly and clearly declared to my hearing in Exodus 18:8-12

[8]"And Moses told his father-in-law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel’s sake, all the hardship that had come upon them on the way, and how the Lord had delivered them.

[9]Then Jethro rejoiced for all the good which the Lord had done for Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.

[10]And Jethro said, “Blessed be the Lord, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh, and who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.

[11]Now I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them.”

[12]Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, took a burnt offering and other sacrifices to offer to God. And Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses’ father-in-law before God".

Our Second Sunday Service in October (My Month of PREVAILING THROUGH PRAYERS).
Topic: Prevailing Over your Goliaths
Text: 1 Kings 20:48-51.

"Prevailing over your Goliath" simply means conquering a large, overwhelming challenge in your life by using the principles exemplified by the Biblical story of David and Goliath, which include faith, wisdom, honor, perseverance, and obedience.

It's about facing metaphorical giants like addiction, fear, or financial hardship with courage and spiritual reliance instead of being defeated by them.

Key principles for prevailing over your Goliaths include
1.Faith: Believe that the battle is not yours alone and that you have the resources to win through a higher power.
2.Wisdom: Understand the true nature of the challenge and know the correct reasons to fight it, rather than being distracted by a false or insignificant issue.
3.Honor: Acknowledge and represent your beliefs with courage, rather than being ashamed of the struggle or who you are fighting for.
Perseverance: Don't run from the problem; confront it directly and use past victories as momentum to keep moving forward.
4.Obedience: Finish the job and see the victory through to the end, as David did when he cut off Goliath's head after prevailing over him.

Understanding your Goliath
Personal challenges: These "goliaths" can be personal struggles like a habitual sin, an addiction, a family problem, or a physical ailment.

Modern challenges: In a modern context, they can be things like unemployment, debt, depression, or feelings of uncertainty about the future.
Internal "goliaths": Sometimes, the giant is an internal one, such as fear, doubt, pride, or envy, which can diminish your strength and resolve.

28.And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”29.Then Jacob asked, saying, “Tell me Your name, I pray.” And He said, “Why is it that you ask about My name?” And He blessed him there".
