HIGHLIGHTS OF THE LEGACIES AND YEARS OF SERVICE OF PASTOR & PASTOR (MRS.) AJIBADE FELIX AKINSOLA IN RCCG CITY OF PRAISE.
RESUMPTION
Pastor & Pastor (Mrs.) Ajibade Felix Akinsola and their family officially resumed at RCCG City of Praise Parish on 21st October, 2018.
VISITATION
Immediately upon resumption, Pastor Ajibade devoted himself to reaching out to members through extensive visitations.
He tirelessly visited members in their homes and offices, ensuring that no one was left out. Within a short period, he became well acquainted not only with church members but also with many residents within the church neighborhood.
DEPARTMENTAL EXPANSION
Upon assumption of office, he met seven (7) functional departments in the parish. To the glory of God, four (4) additional departments were established, bringing the total number of functional departments to eleven (11).
The newly established departments include:
1. Rapha
2. Visitation and Follow-Up
3. Evangelism
4. Welfare.
ATTENDANCE GROWTH
The Sunday service attendance on 21st October, 2018, when they resumed, stood at 286 worshippers.
By their final Sunday service on 28th September, 2025, attendance had grown to 502 worshippers.
This remarkable increase was achieved through consistent visitation, effective follow-up, evangelism, and dedicated pastoral care.
TEACHINGS
Pastor and Pastor (Mrs.) Ajibade are seasoned grassroots teachers of the Word of God. Their Tuesday Digging Deep services and Sunday School classes became highly impactful sessions that many members eagerly anticipated and cherished.
DISCIPLESHIP AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Pastor Ajibade faithfully pursued the mandate of making disciples of all nations.
Upon his resumption, the parish had only one ordained minister. Today, by the grace of God, the church has a total of seventeen (17) ordained ministers:
1. Eight (8) Deacons.
2. Nine (9) Deaconesses.
He also introduced the Executive Workers-in-Training Class, creating opportunities for many members to become actively involved in service and significantly strengthening the church workforce.
Furthermore, he brought the School of Disciples closer to the parish, resulting in a large percentage of the workers in City of Praise becoming graduates of the School of Disciples.
Today, the parish also boast of her own School of Disciples Coordinator.
COMPLETED PROJECTS
Through God's help and grace, numerous projects were successfully completed during their tenure. These include, but are not limited to:
1. Construction of the Miracle Hall for children aged 9–12 years.
2. Purchase of a 2.5KVA soundproof generator set.
3. Installation of wall belts and wall tiles both within and around the church premises.
4. Purchase of 138 banquet chairs.
5. Purchase of 20 executive plastic chairs.
6. Repainting of the church auditorium and premises.
8. Installation of five (5) units of 3HP floor-standing air conditioners.
9. Installation of three (3) units of 2HP wall-mounted air conditioners.
10. Purchase of a 65KVA generator.
11. Purchase of three (3) Smart Television sets.
12. Purchase of one (1) desktop computer.
13. Construction of the Media and Technical Security/Burglary-Proof Compartment.
14. Purchase of an administrative laptop.
15. Purchase of media laptops, cameras, and other media equipment.
16. Purchase of complete kitchen utensils by mummy Ajibade.
17. There were also series of wedding ceremonies, naming ceremonies, Child dedication including twins and triplets, cars and house opening dedications.
These are just to mention but a few.
WELFARE AND SUPPORT FOR BRETHREN.
Pastor and Pastor (Mrs.) Ajibade are known for their compassion and genuine concern for God's people.
They consistently provided listening ears, godly counsel, encouragement, and support to members according to the grace and resources God made available to them.
TRIBUTE TO OUR BELOVED PARENTS IN THE LORD
We, the members of RCCG City of Praise, give all glory to God for granting us the privilege of witnessing the Send-Forth Ceremony of our beloved parents in the Lord, leaders, and pastors, Pastor & Pastor (Mrs.) Ajibade Felix Akinsola.
This occasion is more than a ceremony; it is a celebration of grace, sacrifice, dedication, and faithfulness. Over the years, you have been much more than a shepherd to us. You have been a teacher of the Word, a father to many, a counselor in times of uncertainty, a prayer warrior who stood in the gap, and a builder who labored tirelessly for the advancement of God's Kingdom in City of Praise.

You taught the Word of God with simplicity, clarity, and power. Through your teachings, many lives, marriages and destinies were transformed and strengthened in faith.

You led with humility, integrity, wisdom, and a heart that placed God first and people next.
*Your Prayers*
Many testimonies in this parish were birthed through your prayers, intercession, and unwavering faith.
*Your Love*
You rejoiced with us in seasons of celebration and stood with us through seasons of pain. You have truly demonstrated the heart of a pastor after God's own heart.
As you conclude this assignment, we do not say goodbye, for Kingdom labourers never retire; they are only reassigned. We release you with gratitude, prayers, and heartfelt blessings.

- May the Lord who called you continue to uphold and strengthen you.
- May He enlarge your coast and increase you on every side.
- May He grant you speed, success, and fulfilment in your next assignment.
- May you never lose your reward, and may your latter days be greater than your former days.

- May your hands never be empty of testimonies, and may the same God who was with you in City of Praise go before you into greater territories.
Thank you, Sir and Ma, for your labour of love. Thank you for the seeds you planted, the lives you nurtured, and the legacy you have left behind. We shall keep the fire burning.
