SERVE IN THE NAME OF CHRIST.
Colossians 3:12-17
In his volume entitled Celebration of Discipline, Richard Foster wrote on "The Discipline of Service." In one of his contrasts of self - righteous service with true service, he said " Self- righteous service is without sensitivity. It insists on meeting the need even when to do so would be destructive. True service can withhold the service as freely as perform it."

Above all, as believers, our words and actions must be Christ - like and they must bring glory to God. We must endeavour to dwell richly in the study of God's word and daily commune with Him. Remember that Christ forgave our sins and granted us victory over the power of sin and death. In like manner, we must learn to forgive those who have wronged us and put on love. When the peace if God rules your heart, then, you will serve God acceptably and live a life that brings glory to God.
