This evening at Royal Feast, Apostle Lawrence Achudume taught from 2 Kings 7:1–15, reminding us to be careful how we bring what we think we know into what God is prophesying. Drawing from Deuteronomy 18:18, he emphasized that Christianity does not remove thinking—rather, thinking leads to sound reasoning, and faith is revealed by its outcomes. Every man moves in line with his thoughts, so we must not allow life’s circumstances to hinder our thinking or productivity, but instead commit to the works of our hands, knowing that is what God blesses.
From the story of the lepers, he highlighted key lessons: they were thinkers who reasoned together, took risks, exercised sound judgment, and overcame fear by stepping out in faith. Their right desires positioned them for God’s endorsement (Psalms 51:17), and they understood the power of community—they did not eat alone. We are reminded to remain sensitive to God’s move, depend fully on Him, and stay kingdom-minded, for God never abandons such people (Psalms 102:16; Hebrews 6:14).
