And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

An incubator is a container where suitable conditions are maintained for preservation, growth and reproduction purposes. Pentecost also has an incubator where destinies of men receives divine enablement for their empowerment.
The bible has it in record that the disciples were in one accord in a place (in an incubator). The fifty days of waiting for empowerment actually was a time of incubation, if we will see Revival in our nations and Our lands, men and women of resource must come from this incubation center.

Others were celebrating, making merry around in the process of waiting for the popular Pentecost while the disciples were in the secret place of divine incubation. The making of God’s sharp and threshing instruments start from the secret place of prayer, there is actually preparation for any manifestation.

The secret place is the fort of men of valor. Like David, to kill Goliath you must practice how to kill the bear in the secret place. Nobody snaps picture with a car engine rather the exterior and the interior design whereas the engine is the most important component. The engine of an Airplane is the most important in making it fly but it cannot be installed in a first-class cabin rather in the secret place (either in the tail or under the wings). Men and women that must function as great vessels for the kind of revival that will shake the world must have their engines built and installed in the secret place.

A working electrical gadget receives the accolades whereas the actioner is current flow that cannot be seen. It wasn’t a news that the disciples were in the secret place but it became a news after their convocation at the incubation center. A man’s life is a product of his encounters, Jacob got the birth-right from Esau in the open but got the blessing in the secret place, birthright without blessing is just a monument waiting to become an antiquity.

Consider your secret place of prayer important than your place of activity, spiritual capacity is not built in activities, it is built in active engagement on a fiery altar of prayer. The most important thing in an engine is the combustion chamber, take away combustion you will be left with a piece of forged metal. Take away a man’s prayer altar then you can expect a walking co**se. So, that we might live to experience a great revival even more than that of Azuza street in 1906, we need men and women who can burn wood on the altar of prayer in the secret place.

PRAYER POINT
Lord, may I not be lost in the days of my incubation, let my prayer alter receive a divine excitation.

_And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place._

The world needs revival because Satan and his fallen angels knows they have but a limited time before the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. They are working meticulously, spreading the gospel of perdition. Unfortunately, their operations have spread so much into nearly all spheres of life, so much heat is being blown against the good news and many Christians are at the danger of Jezebels of this world yet the manifestation of God’s children is being awaited to reverse the present order.

According to the scripture, ( _Ecclesiastes 4:12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.)_ The anointing of David could only kill goliath at a time, he needed the host of Israel to pursue the enemies for permanent victory. Being an isolated super-power in a corner is like a strong and muscular hand isolated from blood flow, unity is the cord of World’s revival.

As powerful as Jesus earthly ministry was, he could only reach certain territories and he needed a continuum hence the reason why he declared a total lockdown on the disciples at the upper-room. The Holy-ghost did not come just anyhow, Jesus knew that they would need the unity of spirit hence His prayer in ( _John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.)._

The Holy ghost came after they were in one accord, the reason for this is because the holy-ghost would need to divide himself upon united souls. It was recorded that when the Holy-ghost fell upon the disciples, they all spoke in different tongues such that every tribe present heard them in their languages. It was the same message but different languages that saved three thousand souls, how? They were united in spirit, the same Holy-ghost shared himself upon all of them. The same Holy-spirit who preached in a language through Peter also preached the same message through John in another language- this is the unity of the Spirit.

The gate of hell knows it cannot prevail upon the Church but the Church is being infected by the gate of mouth, arguments and counter arguments on doctrinal issues have caused a lot of division and the cord of the spirit is weak. It is time for God’s people to understand the common enemy of the Church and stop being carried away by gains of knowledge. Spiritual division is the devils tool, he knew how God couldn’t stand the unity of the builders of the tower of Babel and he also learnt the methodology to destabilize the believer’s language. We must be wise, pray and stand for the unity if the body of Christ, let the devil not find a loophole through you. _(1 Corinthians 12:25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.)_

PRAYER POINT
Lord, just like the devil found Judas as a tool, cause me not to be available for devil’s agenda.

_And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place._

Pentecost has relevance in the scripture, both in the old testament and the new testament. In the old testament, it connotes the celebration of early new wheat harvest. I.E. Pentecost ushers in a new season,

Pentecost recalls the giving of the law by Moses, the giving of the law by Moses was fiftieth day after the crossing of the red-sea, it ushered in a new dispensation (the dispensation of law). In the new-testament, Pentecost took place the fiftieth day after Jesus resurrection. Pentecost heralded in the dispensation of grace by ending the dispensation of law thus opening the door of grace through the Holy-Spirit.

It was in God’s plan to pour Himself into all men as prophesied by Prophet Joel ( _Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:_)Joel did prophesied but didn’t know it was waiting for the day of Pentecost. As a matter of fact he didn’t live to see the fulfilment of His prophesy but the generation of the disciples became the first living testimony of the new era of God on the inside.

This Era of God on the inside was the Era that Jesus came to introduce. It is a proven fact the it is possible to live in the yesterday, the gospel according to Jesus was strange to the Pharisees and that was why they kicked against Jesus introduction of the New Era. Jesus said; _John10:30-31;I and my Father are one.Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him_ . Upon hearing statements of Spirit-within like these, they became lost and hated Him to death.

It became a confusion when he said; _John14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake._

To nail it he said;
_John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth._

If a man does not experience Pentecost, he is living in the yesterday, there is no such holiness without the Holy-Spirit. Anyone who claims to live a holy life without living in the new-era of the Spirit within only fulfils sets of organized laws that binds.

Conversely, Pentecost should be an experience a believer never ceases to have. You cannot have too much of the Holy-Spirit, so if you were once baptized in the Holy-ghost and that was the only experience you can share, you are living in the yesterday. Daily walk in the spirit is the proof of continuous fellowship with the divine!

May we never live in the yesterday of divine experiences in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT
Lord, help me not to live in the yesterday of spiritual experience, cause me to have daily fresh encounter with you always.

There are seven fundamental quantities in the world, they are; Length, Mass, Time, Electric Current, Temperature, amount of substance and luminous intensity. But of all time is the most significant, others are measurable because there is time of life.

The creation story started with description of time “ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth ”. In other words, all other creature exists in the beginning time of life even heaven and earth were created in time therefore all happenings on earth are guarded by the principle of timing. Conclusively, the greatest resource on earth is time. Anyone who dies will leave the existence of the time of life.

No wonder the bible says in Ecclesiastes 9:11 “ I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all .”
In other words, when your time comes, you will be seen as swift, strong, wise, understanding and skillful. The apostles couldn’t have won 3000 souls with just one message if the day of Pentecost never came, many people who have remarkable success do trace it back to their brilliance but I tell you it’s time function that brought out the wisdom in them.

Pentecost was not the only feast being celebrated by Jews, there are about seven feast which are 1. Feast of Passover 2. Feast of unleavened bread 3. Feast of first fruit 4. Feast of weeks/Pentecost 5. Feast of Trumpets 6. Day of atonement 7. Feast of tabernacles. Of all these feast, they Holy ghost decided to come when the day of Pentecost was fully come, the timely encounter made Pentecost remarkable and significant in Christian experience, you can forget the feast of trumpets but not Pentecost.

Several Pentecost have come and gone but this particular one was indelible in the heart of men. It is time for your life to encounter the miraculous, it your time for breakthrough, it is time for your divine visitation. An encounter in a particular day makes the day stand out of other days, begin to desire an encounter that will change the story of your life. Days have gone but today can be your Pentecost, don’t lose hope for your time has come.

Peter thought he had missed the opportunity to catch fishes in the night but when the one who controls the time came, fishes were caught in the day. Perhaps you think your time of life has gone, the creator of time reverses the irreversible. If Sarah could give birth at old age it is never too late for your time to come, just believe!

PRAYER POINT
Lord let my time come today and cause me to have a life transforming encounter in Jesus name.

_When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy._

Anxiety is a form of negative emotion, its rises as a result of feelings of want, inadequacy and perceived failures. All humans at one point or the order experiences anxiety and we do have different behavioral pattern in managing anxiety.

*WHAT DOES THE BIBLE TEACHES ABOUT ANXIETY?*
Philippians 4:6-7(MSG)

_Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down._ _It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life._

When it seems anxiety is about setting in, the below are the processes that helps the comforter dissipate anxiety in our life as a Christian;

1. Instead of worry pray
2. Instead of sadness let praises lead you into prayers
3. Instead of looking for someone to hear you out, have a little talk with Jesus firstly.

Consider how Jesus dissipated anxiety at the garden of gethsemane. He was to die a painful death for sins he never committed, his heart was troubled within him and wished not to go through the agony so much that his sweat was as the drop of blood. Instead of mourning, Jesus prayed and an angel appeared to strengthen him.

Never rely on anyone in your life’s battle and struggles as your comforter, they can only be your pacifier not your comforter. Nobody is responsible for your happiness take responsibility! The enemy is happy seeing us emotionally down, he does that to make us lose the gain in our pain. The Holy spirit is the comforter, you can always engage him in all situations.

Lord help me to always convert my worries to worship, my pains to praise and my sorrow to supplication.

*TEXT: ISAIAH 54:17*
_Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD._

Battles of life are inevitable but victory is certain for God’s children. The battle of life is real as reality itself, spiritual battles are real than physical combat and for every combat there are rules of engagement.

Understanding your enemy is the first strategy in battle engagement, no one wins in ignorance! Understanding your enemy’s weak points opens you to sure strategies for victory. Today, God is opening us up to one of our enemy’s weaknesses.

Devil the enemy hates rebuke and condemnation, the secret of the devil’s power lies in the quietness of believers, until you speak he doesn’t quit! Because of this weakness, the devil fight’s believers understanding, he doesn’t want them to understand their divine privileges and when they do, he tries to silent them into murmuring; many Christian enjoys talking and complaining about their problems but will never say the right words.

The devil knows that speaking is an act of God, as a matter of fact nothing happens without a word, in the beginning *“God said”* and It was so. As powerful as God is, he imagined and said something into existence, it is better to lose your voice in prayer than to lose it in murmuring silence!

Consider our text, please note that it is your responsibility to judge every tongue that rises against you in judgement. Listen carefully, in the realm of the spirit the devil does nothing without words backing his intention and actions. There are evil voices that has found their ways into some people’s life, negative voice of barrenness, emptiness, poverty, sorrow and pain, retrogression, marital delays and many more, that voice can be stopped the moment you rise to condemn it.

Many at times we exhibit negligence of duties hence reasons for failures in life’s battle, God can fight for you however it’s your duty to condemn the enemy to put a stop to his activities in your life. Stop asking angels to condemn devil’s work in your life, use your tongue to stop him. At the mention of Jesus’ name the enemy bows, don’t let the pictures you have seen about the devil scare you, he is as fearful as anything when he hears that great name.

Listen to Apostle James speak about this devil’s weak point “ _James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you._ ” you have dwell too much on this battle of life, it is the moment to condemn negative voices and happenings around you, you can win this battle now that you know the strategy. A closed mouth is a closed destiny, take your time today to pray and rebuke the devil vehemently and Victory shall be yours in Jesus name.

Lord I condemn every evil judgement passed against me in the realm of the spirit and I reverse them into my testimony in Jesus name.

_Job 17:11 My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart._

When we conclude on life’s issues based on our present situations, life’s opportunities are concealed, vision is blurry with tears on the face! Consider Job in our text, he came to a point that he summarized his life as a waste.

What the devil want is for us to conclude on our situations whereas staying hopeful is one of his strategies. He is so meticulous that he can stay on a case till he gets result. For example, he tempted Jesus trice and never concluded Jesus cannot be defeated, the scriptures have it in record that _“he left him for a season”_ till Jesus was crucified he never gave up, even after Jesus resurrected and it was clear he lost the battle, he is still persecuting believers till today. The devil himself knows the secret of staying hopeful, it is a strategy that fails not.

There is hope for you, if a cut tree has hope then your matter is not concluded yet as heaven is bringing quick intervention across your path. Stay strong in hope, that business can flourish, your health can be restored, your marriage can be at peace, your finances can receive divine boost, your womb can carry babies, failure can be reversed, Doctor’s report can be reversed, you can be free from that demonic oppression, suppression and depression.

That you have not got it is simply because you have lost the gut to try again once more, believe God for strength to wait, don’t lose your hope, Abraham’s physical look was reversed at old age, old-Elizabeth’s weak womb carried John at old age, who had thought Obed-Edom whose poverty was said to be contagious will become wealthy in three months. It is not over, disregard your mockers, they will soon be your chanter.

_Micah 4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem._

Many of us have been so familiar with the prophesy of the last days, we are familiar with the statement *“perilous time shall come”* . However, God is opening us up to another prophesy for the last days.

Last days’ prophesy is not only negative, there are spiritual possibilities in the end of time. As lukewarm as this generation seems, as degenerated as our spiritual state appears, as much as there are traces of spiritual famine and ministry of deception, we have a positive heavenly mandate for our days.

Prophet Micah gave us this prophetic word that people shall yet know the Lord, people shall flow into God’s Kingdom, there will still be an outburst of revival in our generation.

What do we need to do to be part of this spiritual Possibilities of our days?A. Believe in the possibilities of our days; you receive what you believe and you don’t deserve what you despise!
B. Position yourself for this revival outburst; Eagerly engage in spiritual exercises that places spiritual value on someone, riffle is for battle!
C. Waiting without staggering on the promise even when the days seems so dark, only those that wait on God weighs in God’s balance!

Stop believing the lies of the devil that people don’t want be saved again, stop believing the lies of the devil that revival is not possible again in our days, disbelieve that notion that the youth of this generation loves worldliness and not Godliness. You can be a Daniel!

*TOPIC: HERODIAS DON’T FORGIVE AND FORGETS*
*TEXT: Mark 6vs17-19*
_“Mark 6:17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her. 6:18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife. 6:19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:”_

One of the things I know about the devil is that he is a disciplined enemy; he never loses focus of his targets until he turns them into his prey and except his target has got God’s strong backing, it can only be long, it is archievable.

Herodias was the wife of Philip; king Herod’s brother, the king decided to exercise his authority by marrying his brother’s wife and John decided to correct the king, it was expected that the king should be angry but surprisingly it was Herodias that was so furious even to the point of trying to kill John. As wicked as king Herod was, he could only imprison John against Herodias wish; for Herodias wanted him killed.

Herodias pursued this agenda for years until she found the perfect opportunity to behead John. This was years apart, she had given birth even till the daughter grew to the age of being able to dance to entertain royalties. Herodias never forgives and never forgets!

The enemy of our Christian journey don’t forgive and forgets, he constantly watches for our unguarded hour, he runs a project on every believer’s life and believe you me he is a good project manager. The enemy won’t stop bringing temptations around us as believers. Have you imagined why is it that all the devil brings at us constantly are sinful opportunities?

He ran a project on John the Baptist- the man who foreran the first coming of Christ later doubted Jesus as the Messiah. He ran a project on Demas- a vibrant missionary who was Apostle Paul’s partner unfortunately began to seek worldly pleasure but he ran a project on Jesus at several intervals and he failed. Because Jesus became victorious you shall be victorious in Jesus name.

What was it that made Jesus Victorious? Constant watch against unguarded hours, give the devil a little chance he takes dominion. Today alongside watching against unguarded hours the devil always throws at us, we need to trust on God’s unfailing grace to stand.

Lastly I will like to lead us into a powerful Hymn;

1.Christian! seek not yet repose,
Hear thy guardian angel say;
Thou art in the midst of foes;
Watch and pray. 2. Watch, as if on that alone
Hung the issue of the day;
Pray that help may be sent down;
Watch and pray.

Father, make my enemies unsuccessful at every attempt to get me.

_Acts 11:22 Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch. 11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord. 11:24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord_ .

Humility is strength under control, it is one factor the gets God to keep investing in one’s life.
_James4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble_ .

From our passage, Barnabas was a man said to be full of the Holy Ghost yet he remained in the church at Jerusalem, he did not think of starting another church in that same Jerusalem that will compete with the existing one. With his anointing and grace, he was humble enough to just be a brother in the church until the Apostles at Jerusalem deemed it fit to send him to Antioch.

If Barnabas had started another church, he may not necessarily die or have problems just that he is running a lone mission. God’s personified presence will not there yet miracles might still occur.

So many people had stop God’s investment in their life through pride, whereas pride and disobedience have something in common. Saul was obedient until the time he thought he is the king and should be able to take discretion even when God instructs otherwise.

Uzziah the king was humble until the day he thought himself to have achieved all except being a priest so decided to offer sacrifice, refuses to listen to eighty-one priest counseling him and he ended up with leprosy (2Chronicles26:16).

What have you started on your own because you cannot not listen to instruction? You must review your decision. Some have started ministry because they cannot put themselves under tutelage. Show me a great man without a teacher at one point or the other, I will show you a packaged failure waiting for destruction.

Are you about to take a decision out of pride? Are you planning to start your own business because you can no longer submit? That is not a good reason to start one because if you cannot submit to your leader, when you become a leader you won’t listen to your follower. If you want to be a great leader be a great follower.

_And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee._

Many at times when we are faced with difficult situations we tend to go off balance as human that we are, tears instead of thanks, fear instead of firmness takes over our disposition.

Blind Bartimaeus needed help, he heard Jesus was passing and he started crying aloud until he caught Jesus attention. When Jesus commanded that he be brought forth there was this simple instruction which is “Be of good comfort”.

How can you tell someone who has been blind for years and now have an opportunity to be healed to relax? Humanly speaking, Bartimaeus will think that his continuous crying will inspire Jesus to heal him.

God is simply asking you to relax and stop over-working yourself, he knows exactly what you are passing through and how it feels on you. Stop praying out of fear and worry, pray out of faith. Moses was faced with the Red-Sea and he started crying, God asked him why cry? Not only did God asked him that he instructed him to speak to the sea (Exodus 14:15), act in faith.

At the peak of that challenge, know most assuredly that God is with you and won’t let you down. When you approach God in prayers do so with Joy, let heaven know that you are grateful despite the challenges it is a great key to access heavenly resources.

_Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name._

Take at least thirty minutes out of today to give thanks to God.
