PSALM 56: 1-13
*MESSAGE:*
The Psalmist asks for God's mercy because of his enemies who fight against him, think evil plans for him, lie in wait for his life, and hound him all day. He knows that because God is for him, when he prays to God, his enemies go away. He has decided to trust in God when he is afraid so that he will be bold to render praises unto Him. He will also praise God for delivering him from death to be alive in the land of the living.
As long as one is alive, there will be different types of enemies that will confront one. Some enemies are seen while some others are unseen. The Bible reveals that our real enemies are not human but principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places (Eph. 6:12). Therefore, we need spiritual weapons that will pull down strongholds and cast down anything that exalts itself against God's knowledge (2 Cor. 10: 4-5). Are there forces of darkness disturbing you, your family, business, in your office, in your compound, or from your village? Put your trust in God as you put on the whole armour of God. He will fight your battles and give you victory.

Great and powerful God, help me to trust You at all times. _*Amen.*_
