The Teens Connect
In the year 2018 when we started the Teens Connect under the former President, we had the ambition to bring the teenagers together every month to pray, study the word, discuss topical issues and to fellowship with one another. During the course of the year, we had wonderful and exceptional success at this as teenagers gathered monthly together at the Provincial Headquarters. We had themes ranging from the 21st Century Teenagers and Sexuality where we discussed issues relating to s*x and relationships with the opposite s*x, Pathway to Excellence where we discussed on Academic and living an excellent life alongside special editions that had movie shows and Thanksgiving services.
A highlight was January 2018 when we watched Land of Fury by Mount Zion Film Ministries and went into serious prayers for our Nation.
Due to administrative issues at the turn of the year 2020, the Teens Connect adopted a bimonthly format with January holding as a Movie Show and Thanksgiving Service and the March Edition being a Bible Study on the life of Joseph. Due to the world situation, we held two online editions during the lockdown on the Provincial Teens Platform.
This year, the Teens Connect would be adopting the same bimonthly strategy of 2020 but with a tweak. It would be a Physical then to an Online edition.
I am pleased to inform you that we have long been preparing for the January 2021 edition and it holds this Sunday.
It would be our Thanksgiving service and a workers meeting for this blessed year.
Do continue in the strength of the Lord this year.
I long to see you on Sunday by 1pm for the Thanksgiving Service.
God bless you.
Oluwafemi Ajibona.
