Theme: Our month of light and Illumination
Topic: Let there be light
Text: Gen.1.1 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen.1.2 - And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen.1.3 - And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
The Bible passage above exposes us to the importance and essence of life in the creation process.
And that creation and establishment of the world took no course until there was a declaration and existence of light.
The importance of light cannot be overemphasized in our contemporary world, performing multiple functions and helping us to discover new things.
Without the presence of light, our life would be in darkness throwing us into an oblivion of the shape, stage, resources, and access God has endowed us with.
We will keep walking in ignorance of our current location or having knowledge of our future.
The Bible emphasized that "the world was without form and void, and the spirit of the lord brooded upon the face of the water", so is the life of every man without the light of God, it takes no shape and meaning, resulting in stagnancy and destruction.
Until God declared light, there was no further creation and production.
Brethren, God has declared April a month of "Light." A month is defined by the illumination that comes from God.
Our life will begin to take shape, meaning, and direction in this month.
The light will come from our knowledge and understanding of God and his will for our life.
This will bring liberation, breakthrough, and deliverance from the force of darkness and its influence.
A month when God and his spirit be more real to us, and we begin to feel his illuminating presence.
God has promised us light; bringing meaning, shape, and creativity into our life.
And all this will be performed by the zeal of the lord, we just have to trust and believe strongly in his transformative power.
Prayer
God lighten up my life, open me up to the light that transforms.
