Sermon: Stay with God for Fulfillment of Destiny
Preacher: Pastor Seun Allen
Text: Gen. 37:5-11.

For you to fulfill your destiny, and manifest what the Lord has prepared for you, you need to stay with God. The life of Joseph as a case study (Gen. 39:2). Joseph was able to fulfill destiny because he carried God with him.

Points to note in the life of Joseph
1. Stay with God even when people misunderstand you. Joseph's brethren saw him as a dreamer, but God saw him as a leader. Gen. 37:19. If you are moved or controlled by what people think you are, fulfillment of destiny will be difficult. People judge your present, but God sees your future.
2. Stay with God during seasons of afflictions. Joseph was sold to slavery and was also imprisoned, yet he stayed with God. Psalm 34:19. If you stay with God, you will understand that every affliction is to prepare you for the greater blessings.
3. Stay with God and maintain your integrity: Joseph valued his relationship with God more than temporary pleasure. Stay with God and maintain your integrity. You want to fulfill destiny, be a man or woman of integrity. Let your integrity be paramount to you.
4. Stay with God and use your gifts to serve God. Even in prison, Joseph used his gifts for God. Your gifts can become the key to open your next level. 1peter 4:10.
5. Stay with God until your dreams become reality. Joseph's battle started at a young age, and yet he fulfilled his dreams. Delay is not denial. Habakkuk 2:3.
6. Stay with God because he never abandoned His children. Gen. 39:2. God's presence is the greatest guarantee to the fulfillment of destiny.

Remember the following:
1. Dont be moved by people's opinion about your life. People may call you by what you are passing through, but God sees you as what he plans for your life.
2. Failure is not the determinant of your future. Joseph experienced failures at certain stages of his life, yet his dream was fulfilled.
3. Rejection cannot cancel God's purpose fir your life.
4. God's presence is more valuable than worldly possessions or positions.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: PARTIALITY
TEXT: JAMES 2:1-10
MEMORY VERSE: "For there is no respect of persons with God" - Romans 2:11

INTRODUCTION:
Partiality is a favouritism or preference. Giving excessive importance to someone at the detriment of others. It premise on external or surface perspective rather than intrinsic evaluation of a situation and or person involved. As simple or minor it may be it's a sin because it is an illegitimate distinction rooted in the spirit of elitism- when someone or group of people thinks more of himself or themselves than they ought to. Most often based on external assessment often motivated by reward before or thereafter- Proverb 28:21. It doesn't emanate from God- Romans 2:11

The outcome are devastating viz hostility, hatred, resentment, bitterness, jealous envy, confusion, backstabbing as well as unhealthy rivalry among other vices it interplay can be felt in:

A. PARTIALITY IN ALL FACES OF LIFE (A BIG SIN)
1. CHURCH: Partiality is a sin dangerous to the growth of the Church as it affects believers relationship with each other manifesting as preference for some but neglect for others, oversights of some and care or attention for others.- Acts 6:1-6
ii. It's thinking resulting in flawed spiritual value system that leads to division, However, there is the need to correct this unrighteous act
ili. Therefore believers must remember, the supremacy of the scripture - Matthew 22:34-39,
James 2:8
iv. That the scripture is given by God who loved all irrespective of race, status, academic or social qualification, nations John 3:16, Act 10:38.
v. The judgment of God on disobedience and make correction. - Col. 3:23-25, Act 10:35
vi. Unity in Christ: We are one entity - Gal 3:28, 1 Cor. 12:13

B. THE HOME: Partiality also manifest in homes in divers dimensions and a major source of crisis and hostility Father, Mother, Children -Gen 27, Children, Children-Gen 37, Parent and children.
- God is not the author of confusion we need to act and live by the word 1 Tim 5:21
- Relate fairly with one another without fear or contempt.

C. WORK PLACE: This is in the relationship between employee and employer, employee to employee (Superior and subordinates) in the areas of assessment, promotion, entitlements etc.
- stand on this is clear- Ephesians 6:9, James 3:17, Col 4:1.

D. JUDGMENT: This is perversion of justice based on biased and preferential assessment of situation resulting in unfair dispensation of justices. Ecc. 3:16, Deut 10:17, Deut 1:16-17

CONCLUSION: Partiality is a discriminatory act against people irrespective of where, when and how it is being perpetrated. It's one of the hidden works of the flesh that should be avoided

Sermon: Total Obedience to God
Preacher: Pastor Seun Allen
Text: 1 Samuel 15:20-23

Every instruction of God is for our good and benefit. The disobedience of saul (in 1 Sam. 15:20-23) left battles for his generation. Our relationship with God is not on religion basis only, but on our willingness to obey His voice. Partial obedience is the same as total disobedience. John 14:15 - if indeed you love God you will obey Him totally and keep His commandments.

What does total obedience mean
1. Obeying God regardless of convenience or personal comfort. Luke 5:4-5. Though, the instructions from God may not be logical to the reasoning of men, but you need to obey God totally.
2. Making God's instructions the highest priority - That is, when God speaks, nothing else matters. God's will must come above your personal opinion.
3. Fulfilling every word of God completely - James 1:22. God expects total obedience.

Dangers of disobedience
1. Rejection - When your disobedience persists, it can lead to rejection. Hosea 4:6.
2. Curse and Judgement - Any disobedience opens door for curses and judgements. Galatians 3:10
3. Loss of God's presence - You cant continue disobeying God, and enjoy His presence Psalm 66:18, Judges 16:20.

Benefits of Total Obedience
1. Blessing from God. When you obey God, you receive blessings. You will not go empty and come back empty Deuteronomy 28: 5, Psalm 1;1-
2. Total victory -Deuteronomy 28:7.If you obey God, He will fight your battles.
3. Divine Promotion - if you faithfully obey God, He will promote you. Deuteronomy 28:13.

Sermon: Are You Prepared for God's Blessing?
Preacher: Pastor Seun Allen
Text: Luke 2:42-49

The earlier you understand God's purpose for your life, the greater opportunities you have to fulfill your destiny. Eccl 9:10-12. How prepared are you for your own time and chance, everybody will have his/her own time and chances.

What preparations have you made towards the future that you desired. You must have a goal, a vision that you are working towards, in other to fulfill destiny.

Points to note
1. Preparation begins with discovery of your purpose
2. Time and opportunity comes to everyone but preparations determine manifestation.
3.Preparation turns opportunity to blessing - God blesses what you have (the worl of your hand). God will only multiply what you have
4.Every great blessing begins with something small - If you have not started, you can't see the glorious destination. Start small.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING REPENTANCE
TEXT: 2 CORINTHIANS 7:9-10

MEMORY VERSE: “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord” - Acts 3:19.

INTRODUCTION: Technically, repentance is a change of mind, not just a turning from sin. Apostle Paul while explaining to the brethren in Corinth, the reason for the joy he had, made a clear distinction between godly sorrow and the sorrow of the world saying, now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, …..2 Corinthians 7:9-10 In this lesson, we will discuss the role of the Holy Spirit in repentance and its outcome.

THE CONVICTING WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
i. Repentance is often associated with salvation in scripture, that is, what happens when the Holy Spirit begins His work to bring a person to salvation.
ii. The Spirit gives the sinner a personal understanding and infallible conviction that the fact concerning his spiritual state are true John 16:8.
iii. Those facts are his sin, the eternal punishment due him for his sin.
iv. From that convicting work of the Holy Spirit, the sinner repents; he changes his mind about sin, the Saviour and salvation Ephesians 2:8-9.
v. When a repentant person changes his mind about sin. That change of mind naturally leads to a turning from sin. Sin is no longer desirable because sin brings condemnation. - Roman 5:17-18
vi. The repentant sinner begins to dislike his past misdeed and he starts seeking ways to amend his behaviour - Luke 19:8; Acts 2:37.

THE FINAL PRODUCTS
Ultimately, the result of the change of mind about sin is good deeds – Matthew 3:8; Titus 2: 7, 14.
The sinner turns away from sin through faith in the Saviour. That faith is shown in action - James 2:17
B. Repentance in relation to salvation is a change of mind from an embrace of sin to rejection of sin and from rejection of Christ to faith in Christ - Ephesians 2:1-5
i. Such repentance is something only God can enable - John 6:44; 2 Timothy 2 :25
ii. Therefore, true biblical repentance will always result in a change of behaviour - 2 Corinthians 5:17.

CONCLUSION: Your character must change from sinful to godly if you have repented. It is not just turning from sin but turning to God.

Sermon: What Do You See
Preacher: Pastor Seun Allen
Text: Gen. 13:10-15

One of the greatest assets that God gives onto man is the ability to see. A visionless man is a man without destiny. Anything you see canally will produce corruption (Jeremiah 1:11-12.

What a man sees determines the direction of his life. What are you seeing about yourself. Always have vision, but let your vision aligns with God's plan for your life.

The power and grace that influence what you see will determine what your destiny becomes. A future you cannot picture, you cannot possess it,

Points to note
1. What you see is a reflection of what moves you. You are permitted to see what is motivating you. Gen. 13:10. Don't be moved by what you see physically - let God lead you. 1Sam 16:7.
2. You need to allow the spirit of God to direct you. Prov. 3:5-6. Trust the Lord with all your heart and He will direct you. Sometimes, attractive opportunities are not from God
3. Canal eyes sees goodness, but spiritual eyes sees greatness - 2 Cor.5:7. Dont let your canal eyes move you, be spiritually directed. God first.
4. Greatness begins with the mind. Build up your mind, be great from your heart. If you cannot picture it, you will struggle to pursue it.

Don't think there will be no challenges, because God is leading you. There's no glory without stories. If you have not experienced failure, it means you have not tried something new.
