I believe so strongly that water baptism is an essential part of the salvation process.

In the Book of Acts 2:38, the scriptures said,

"Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. "

Jesus Himself never downplayed on the necessity of water baptism. Hence, He allowed Himself to be baptised by John the Baptist at the river Jordan. (Luke 3:21-22)

Water baptism is a major requirement for the body of sin to be crucified and destroyed that we might be no longer slaves to sin aided by our old man, I.e. the corrupted and fallen version of man occassioned by the deceit of satan in the garden of Eden. (Roman 6:6, Gal. 2:20)

To put on Christ and get rid of the old man (sinful man) to experience the full provisions of salvation, we must be baptized into Christ. (Gal. 3:27).

The finished works of Christ on the cross confers upon every believer both an identity and authority that enables them to have dominion as intended by God from the very beginning before the fall of man.

A false identity is an enslavement and murderer of great destiny.

The devil deceived Eve into doubting her identity in God and human race lost her dominion and dived into a life of perpetual struggle, lack, reproach, pain, sickness, hardship and death.

To be effective in the deployment of the believer’s authority and perpetually walk in the supernatural, you must first and foremost have the accurate knowledge of your identity and authority in Christ Jesus.

Many failures, defeats and deaths in life, marriage, relationships, career, ministry, business etc, are as a result of lack of wisdom. Only a few has really come to terms with this truth.

It will however interest you to know that, wisdom is a necessity of life, and a principal weapon of spiritual warfare largely erroneously ignored to the detriment of many resulting in untold hardship, failures, endless defeats etc.

The presence of a curse in the life of a person can greatly limit him or her from reaching his or her fullest potentials in all spheres of life.

When Christ died He put an end to every curse being made a curse for us on the tree. (Gal. 3:13)

No one should still be living under a curse (known and unknown), because Jesus Christ abolished it through the redemptive work on the cross, that we the seed of Abraham might enjoy the covenant blessing of Abraham.

The scripture did not leave the Church as well as the world in the dark as to whether God is a God of mercy or otherwise.

One thing that enhances our accurate and precise understanding of the mercy of God is an understanding of His nature of love (John 3:16); because mercy, is predicated upon the love of God.

There are two expressions of mercy graciously designed and made accessible by God to make up for the weaknesses now inherent in man occasioned by the fall in the garden of Eden (Genesis 3).
