Topic: Joy Cometh
Bible text: Psalms 30:1-5

Your joy is coming speedily.
Joy is coming because after every night, there will be a day.

Physically
Sickness does not have the last say. Mark 5:25-34.
We’re saying to the sick, death does not have the last say, Jesus has the last say. John 11:39-45.

Materially
Poverty doesn’t have the last say. Genesis 17:1.
God can turn your last to your beginning. 1 Kings 17:8-16, 2 Kings 4:1-7. As a result of this lockdown, your fortune is about to change. John 6:5-13.

Spiritually
Darkness does not have the last say, light has the last say. Genesis 1:1-3, John 1:4-5. It doesn’t matter how great the forces of darkness are against you, The Light will give you victory.

Maritally
Barrenness does not have the last say. John 1:1-3
God has the last say about your fruitfulness. Genesis 1:28, Genesis 18:9-14.

As you surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your morning of joy will begin.

Prayer Point: Father, let my own morning of joy begin now.

SMALL BUT NOT STUCK: WHEN GOD USES LITTLE THINGS TO MAKE LOUD STATEMENTS

Smallness is not a sentence; it is a season.

It is a passage, not a destination.

There is nothing sinful about being small, but there is everything suspicious about getting comfortable with smallness when God is calling you to growth.

Nobody was born great. Even greatness itself starts as a seed.

And seeds are small; not because they are weak, but because they are designed to grow.

The Bible says, “Who has despised the day of small beginnings?” — Zechariah 4:10

Notice the question. God never condemned small beginnings; He only warns against despising them or living in them forever.

You may be born in a manger, but you were not designed to remain in one.

Jesus started in a feeding trough, but He didn’t end there. The manger was His entry point, not His identity. The cross was His assignment, and the throne is His destination (Philippians 2:9–11).

David started as a shepherd boy; ignored, forgotten, underestimated. But the same boy who watched sheep was rehearsing for a throne (1 Samuel 16). Small fields often prepare men for large platforms.

Joseph started in a pit, moved to a prison, but ended in a palace (Genesis 37–41).

If pits were permanent, Joseph would never have governed Egypt.

If prisons were final, purpose would never graduate.

Starting small is humility.

Remaining small despite opportunity is negligence.

A baby who refuses to grow is not called “cute”; he is called sick. Growth is proof of life.

Stagnation is a symptom of something wrong.

The Bible says, “We all… are being transformed from glory to glory” — 2 Corinthians 3:18

God’s plan is from glory to glory to glory—not glory to stagnation.

You may start with five loaves and two fish, but place them in the hands of Jesus and watch scarcity become surplus (John 6:5–13). Small things in God’s hands never remain small.

Don’t despise small beginnings.

But never romanticize small endings.

Start small. Think big. G
