ANNOUNCEMENT OF TRANSITION TO GLORY
With heavy hearts but in total submission to the will of God, the Celestial Church of Christ, Ileri-Ayo Parish, Egba Province ‘C’ Headquarters, announces the peaceful transition of our beloved Shepherd, Ven./Sup./Evang. Prophet Dr. Isaac A. Elebute, who slept in the Lord.
He was the Lord’s gallant soldier who fought both physical and spiritual battles, for people, for the Church at large, and for himself and his family. A strong, principled, and core disciplinarian, yet a joyful and humorous man, he lived his life with a rare balance of firmness and warmth.
Beyond this, he was an inspiration of faith and a mentor to thousands, leading by example and pointing countless souls to Christ. Through his shepherdship and ministry, hundreds were brought to salvation, and God performed His mighty works, healings, deliverances, and even resurrections of lives, as testimonies of the Lord’s power through him.
We mourn his departure but celebrate a life of deep devotion, fruitful service, and unwavering faith. His legacy remains etched in the lives he touched, the souls he nurtured, and the Church he faithfully shepherded. Truly, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints” (Psalm 116:15).
May the soul of our Shepherd rest in perfect peace, and may the Lord strengthen the Elebute family and the entire congregation at this time.
