MAY 25 MONDAY
MORNING PRAYER 🌅
Phillipians 4:6-7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

INSPIRATION
We are encouraged to not worry about anything, but to put our trust in God instead, and pray about all things. Prayer is how we communicate with God; and He always hears us when we speak. As you pray, pray as if the prayer has already been answered – that is faith. As you do so, you will find that your heart will be filled with a kind of peace that cannot be shaken by any trial or circumstance. That peace will keep you sound and sure through many challenges, and you will be able to be at rest.

PRAYER 🙏
Dear God, I commit every situation occurring in my life in your hands. Father, I will not pay attention to how desperate the situations may be because I know that nothing is greater than you, O God. I put my trust in you and I am assured that all solutions to my problems have been found and I will be able to act them out. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

NIGHT PRAYER 🌌
Ephesians 3:20-21
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

INSPIRATION
Paul ends his prayer in Ephesians with praise. He praises God for His power and ability to do "infinitely more than we can imagine." He praises the Glory of God forever. After all that he has said to the Ephesians, reminding them that they are the body of Christ and admonishing them to get along with each other, Paul ends his letter by reminding them of how great and marvelous is the Lord. This doxology is a model for our own prayers. Let us not get so caught up in our petitions that we fail to give God the praise He deserves.

PRAYER 🙏
Lord, You are the Highest God. You have redeemed me and I praise You. You have blessed me far beyond my imagination and continue to bless me in ways I cannot possibly understand. I thank You and praise You. I give You all honor and all glory, forever and ever. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER 🌅
Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

INSPIRATION
The persecution, mockery, beatings, isolation, and attacks we may face for being advocates of the gospel, will never gain any comparison to the glory of what is to come on the day of the Resurrection, where we will receive new glorious bodies, free from infirmities and sin. It is because of this, we gladly go through all we go through, because we know that everything we face on this earth is temporary. It neither adds nor removes to our eternal security in Christ. Our salvation remains our priority and we should strive to proclaim it, defend it, and be proud of it no matter what.

PRAYER 🙏
Dear God, I would like to use this moment to declare my faith in you and my resolve to abide in you no matter what. I am aware of what may come my way because I choose to align myself with you. I do not consider it any loss, the suffering I may endure on this earth, as a result of my faith in you. I thank you, Lord, that I can be a partaker of this glorious future. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

NIGHT PRAYER 🌌
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

INSPIRATION
The Prayer of Jabez is a powerful one. In 2000, Christian author Bruce Wilkinson wrote a book called The Prayer of Jabez: Breaking Through to a Blessed Life. In this book, Wilkinson discussed the importance of praying like Jabez. Jabez prayed that God would bless him. That He would expand his territory. That God would keep His hand upon him and protect him from harm. A simple prayer, but a powerful one. It asks for divine favor, anointing, and protection--a life free from sorrow. These are the things we all seek from God. Jabez, a relatively obscure Biblical hero, teaches us that we "have not, because we ask not." We don't know much about Jabez, except that he prayed this prayer and that he was more honorable than his brothers. But one thing we do know, however, is that God heard him and answered His prayer. Let us commit to praying these things over our own lives. If God did it for Jabez, surely He will do it for us as well.

PRAYER 🙏
Father, I ask Your blessings on my life and the life of my family. I pray that You give me all that I need and, even more, that You prosper me. I pray for Your guidance, Your strength and Your protection. I thank You for hearing my prayer. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER 🌅
Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

INSPIRATION
The main evidence that a Christian is truly a child of God, is that they follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. We receive instructions from God, through the Holy Spirit. To turn down those instructions is to disobey God. Children are not to disobey their father. Obedience is part of an expression of our faith in God. We cannot just claim with our mouths that we are children of God. We have to live it in our lives to, as a result of the salvation we received.

PRAYER 🙏
Lord, my prayer is that I will take heed to the leading of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, and not any other voice or influence. I choose to be led by you, O God, because you are my Father and I know that you always have my best interests at heart. You know me better than I know myself. I trust your guidance in my life completely. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

NIGHT PRAYER 🌌
Proverbs 18:24
A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

INSPIRATION
Facebook has allowed us to create a world where we can have thousands of "friends" from all over the world. In fact, most people who frequently use Facebook have more FB friends than FTF (face to face) friends. We spend time online connecting with some of these friends, but mostly we peruse our news feed to see their latest posts. We see, of course, pictures of their families, cute little puppy videos they have uploaded, and sometimes an inspirational quote. But we also see rants and sarcastic comments and thinly veiled threats. If you look long enough, among these many "friends" you will find something that disturbs you or makes you uneasy. You begin to wonder, "Whom is she talking about? Is she making that comment in reference to me?" We get sucked right into the drama that is no drama and we spend our lives stalking their pages to ease our minds. It ruins us. In Hamlet, Polonius advises his son: "Those friends thou hast, and their adoption tried, Grapple them unto thy soul with hoops of steel." Those friends we have who have proven, over time, to be true friends, those are the ones we need to hold on to. Sometimes it pays to cull those Facebook friends list. If we are mindful of whom we choose to be in on our "friends" list, we will see that the ones we have chosen are tried and true. Jesus is such a friend. He is one who "sticks closer than a brother." With a friend like Him, what more do we need?

PRAYER 🙏
Lord, help me to be mindful of the people I allow into my life. Help me not to bring drama and angst into my heart and my home. I ask that You help me to appreciate the good friends I have and that You will send people my way who will strengthen my walk and encourage me in You. I thank You for being the best friend I could ever have. Help me find friends who are more like You. Amen.
