Sandra . . .

She dreads marriage with everything in her. She has seen a lot from those around her. Her parents, friends and even older siblings are far from enjoying their homes. In fact, her mum has adviced she should opt for single motherhood, "You don't need a man, just give me a grandchild!", she constantly tells her!

AYC 2022! 💫💫💫💫

Abeokuta Youth Congress is the gathering of the Christian youths within Abeokuta with the primary focus of learning Christ till His very life is formed in us. This year, we felt the Lord will have us look at the practical concepts of discipleship, as a necessary making for glory.

Some youths are like Moses. They get to a point in their lives when they come to years and begin to understand what glory God has in store for them. They suddenly see a glimpse of their future as the deliverer of Israel. Others are like Ruth, who do not see any future or glory ahead. All hope seems lost, maybe because of their background.

Whether you're a Moses or a Ruth, or a Timothy (with great family background & potential but untrained), what you need as a young person is a discipleship relationship that can prepare you for the future you see or do not see. We, therefore, trust the Lord to expose this to us and teach us himself, in a very practical way.

We, therefore, want to invite you to the maiden edition of the ABEOKUTA YOUTH CONGRESS (AYC) 2022. The details of the meeting are as follows:

Theme: PRACTICAL DISCIPLESHIP: Necessary Making for Glory.
Theme Text: Exodus 2:11-15, Matthew 4:19
Date: Sunday, March 27th – Tuesday, March 29th, 2022.
Time: 5 pm daily
