TOPIC: CHRIST MAKES THE DIFFERENCE! PART 1

TEXT: TITUS 3:1-4
¹Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good.

²They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone.

³Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other.

⁴But—"When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love,

MESSAGE
The life of Christ, which is manifested through the life of a child of God, is one of the factors that distinguishes a true child of God from an unbeliever.

Unfortunately, many people mistake religious people, perhaps because they attend church, for genuine children of God, believing that everyone who attends church is a genuine child of God.

They never pay attention to Christ Jesus' message, as declared in His word: My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. (John 10:27)

It is impossible to be truly born again and not make a positive difference in society. When a person gives his life to the Lord Jesus Christ, he becomes an extension of God's kingdom on earth.

That is why Christians are referred to as Christ's ambassadors, because where people live in rebellion, waywardness, slander, conflict, and all manner of evil, a true child of God will make a difference on purpose, no matter how difficult it may be.

I pray, Abba Father, by Your tender mercies, please give us the grace to make a positive difference in our world, in Jesus' name. SHALOM

TOPIC: SOARING ON THE WINGS OF DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS. PART 8

TEXT: TITUS 2:12-15
¹²And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,

¹³while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

¹⁴He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.

¹⁵You must teach these things and encourage the believers to do them. You have the authority to correct them when necessary, so don't let anyone disregard what you say.

MESSAGE
When one examines the way many drivers drive in different parts of the world, one will realise that there are many reckless drivers behind the wheel, whether they are commercial or private drivers.

Is this because there are no laws in place to serve as a check and balance for driving in order to protect lives from needless dangers?

On the contrary, some countries' driving rules are extremely strict. So, why are there more records of car accidents than plane crashes?

The level of control placed on flight is greater than that placed on driving, which makes a huge difference.

For example, once you pass the driving school test and become a licenced driver, you can start driving whenever you want and keep following the traffic laws, which you can break whenever you want and still avoid punishment or being caught and fined, depending on the efficiency of the controlling body in each country.

However, graduating from aviation school does not grant you the freedom to fly the plane at your will; you must be connected to the control room system at all times in order to avoid an accident.

That is why, in order for a Christian to remain a high flyer in God's purpose, he must remain connected to the divine control system that is in place to help him run his race safely all the time.

I pray, Abba Father, that by Your tender mercies, for the rest of our lives, please help us to stay connected to the divine control system designed to keep us safe, in Jesus' name. SHALOM

TEXT: TITUS 2:9-12
⁹Slaves must always obey their masters and do their best to please them. They must not talk back

¹⁰or steal, but must show themselves to be entirely trustworthy and good. Then they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive in every way.

¹¹For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.

¹²And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,

MESSAGE
Many people aspire to stand out in life, yet many are unaware of the reality that will lift them in life.

Many people assume that they can distinguish themselves by cutting corners; however, the Bible reveals that, "Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people." (Proverbs 14:34)

This is a strong indicator that righteousness is not negotiable if one wants to fly high.

In today's Bible reading, the Apostle Paul gave an admonition to Titus, which was to be taught to the slaves regarding how they were to relate to their masters while performing their duties for their own good.

This is because as long as they were able to embrace such biblical teachings, being slaves by status would not be able to limit them in the race of life; rather, it would allow them to soar on the wings of divine instructions because they would attract God's blessing and honour automatically.

TOPIC: SOARING ON THE WINGS OF DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS. PART 6

TEXT: TITUS 2:5-8
⁵to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.

⁶In the same way, encourage the young men to live wisely.

⁷And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.

⁸Teach the truth so that your teaching can't be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.

MESSAGE
There will always be a need to refer to the illustration provided at the start of this series: the relationship between the pilot and the control room.

The safety of the flight is somewhat guaranteed if the connection between them remains intact throughout the flight.

Even so, unforeseen events can occur outside of the pilot-control room relationship; for example, the plane may develop sudden mechanical issues during flight.

In the context of life's race, being connected to the divine control room through continuous fellowship with God and the body of Christ in the local assembly where one worships can address both foreseen and unforeseen issues.

Most importantly, one's integrity must not be compromised in order to avoid any kind of crash on life's flight, just as it is with physical flight.

TEXT: TITUS 2:1-4
¹As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching.

²Teach the older men to exercise self-control, to be worthy of respect, and to live wisely. They must have sound faith and be filled with love and patience.

³Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good.

⁴These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children,

MESSAGE
Anyone who has been following this series since the beginning will recall that the relationship between a pilot and the control room, where he receives safety instructions for his flights, has been used in various ways to illustrate how to stay connected to information sources.

The most high God and His vessels are designated to play such duties for a Christian for efficient fulfilment of purpose on earth.

Whereas, in the secular world, anything that serves as the backbone of a particular profession plays such a role.

The Apostle Paul admonished Titus in today's Bible reading, as well as every true leader in the body of Christ indirectly, to intentionally serve as operators in the divine control room.

They are to teach the older men and women in the church how to behave.

As true legends of faith, they are to serve as godly models for younger generations.

They are specifically to help those who enter marriage without understanding what it entails and the duties that come with it to keep their unions from collapsing and assist them in being godly models to society at large.

I pray, Abba Father, by Your tender mercies, please help us not to fail to fulfil our duty to humanity as ordained by You, in Jesus' name. SHALOM

TOPIC: SOARING ON THE WINGS OF DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS. PART 4

TEXT: TITUS 1:13-16
¹³This is true. So reprimand them sternly to make them strong in the faith.

¹⁴They must stop listening to Jewish myths and the commands of people who have turned away from the truth.

¹⁵Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted.

¹⁶Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good.

MESSAGE
Anyone who takes on the position of an instructor in the life of someone who relies on him for guidance or direction in order to live a fulfilling life should never be reckless in giving in to emotions because, in the end, this will not yield positive results.

When the instructor stands on the truth in order to help the person he is grooming, they may step on one another's toes in the process of fulfilling divine purpose, but it will be well worth it when the issue is carefully evaluated.

That is why Apostle Paul issued the command that any Christian who truly wants to grow in the grace of God, in order to fulfil his purpose on a divine platform and be a leader who will also raise other leaders, must be told to avoid listening to anything that does not add value to their growth in the race of life.

TOPIC: SOARING ON THE WINGS OF DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS. PART 3

TEXT: TITUS 1:9-12
⁹He must have a strong belief in the trustworthy message he was taught; then he will be able to encourage others with wholesome teaching and show those who oppose it where they are wrong.

¹⁰For there are many rebellious people who engage in useless talk and deceive others. This is especially true of those who insist on circumcision for salvation.

¹¹They must be silenced, because they are turning whole families away from the truth by their false teaching. And they do it only for money.

¹²Even one of their own men, a prophet from Crete, has said about them, "The people of Crete are all liars, cruel animals, and lazy gluttons."

MESSAGE
Given that an ordained worker assists the pastor of the local assembly to establish the congregants in nothing but the truth of the gospel, he must remain connected to the divine control room system that will keep him informed, guided, and standing on the truth throughout his life in order to deliver the task for which he has been ordained in his local assembly.

The Bible clearly states that a believer should contend for his faith and fight the good fight of faith. This is not solely the responsibility of a pastor.

It takes a team effort to keep the sheep, especially the vulnerable ones, secure from the hirelings who masquerade as shepherds and look for methods to devour Christ's flock.

As long as the pilot is connected to the control room, he can be at least 95% confident in the safety of his flight, no matter what happens.

The same holds true for a child of God who stays connected to the divine control room for divine instructions; he will continue to soar in the race of life.

I pray, Abba Father, that by Your tender mercies, you will help us never to disconnect from You for the rest of our lives in Jesus' name. SHALOM

TOPIC: SOARING ON THE WINGS OF DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS. PART 2

TEXT: TITUS 1:5-8
⁵I left you on the island of Crete so you could complete our work there and appoint elders in each town as I instructed you.

⁶An elder must live a blameless life. He must be faithful to his wife, and his children must be believers who don't have a reputation for being wild or rebellious.

⁷For an elder must live a blameless life. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered; he must not be a heavy drinker, violent, or dishonest with money.

⁸Rather, he must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must love what is good. He must live wisely and be just. He must live a devout and disciplined life.

MESSAGE
Leadership is a position that comes with a lot of responsibilities.

Sharpening one's leadership skills through relevant instructions from the appropriate quarters, whether spiritual or secular, is one approach to becoming an effective leader who also develops successful and responsible leaders.

As stated in the previous message, any pilot who does not intend to crash during a flight must purposefully remain connected to the control centre, from which he will get safety instructions for his flight from start to finish.

Anyone who identifies with an organisation is obligated to follow its rules and regulations, as long as he is not forced into it or compelled to join against his will.

That is why Christianity should not be manipulated or imposed on anyone, because it requires a willing heart to thrive.

All that the Apostle Paul commanded in today's Bible reading is not to be forced on anyone; rather, it should be something to look for in a leader to be, since such persons get divine instructions that can help them run a victorious Christian race.

As a result, just as it is necessary for the leader to continue receiving relevant instructions for his fulfilment, it is also necessary for followers who will become leaders in some capacity to continue receiving important instructions for their fulfilment.

I pray, Abba Father, that by Your tender mercies, you please help us live a life that You approve of all the days of our lives, in Jesus' name. SHALOM

TOPIC: SOARING ON THE WINGS OF DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS. PART 1

TEXT: TITUS 1:1-4
¹This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives.

²This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God—who does not lie—promised them before the world began.

³And now at just the right time he has revealed this message, which we announce to everyone. It is by the command of God our Savior that I have been entrusted with this work for him.

⁴I am writing to Titus, my true son in the faith that we share. May God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior give you grace and peace.

MESSAGE
No matter how intelligent a pilot is, if he does not want to crash during the flight, he must consciously remain connected to the control room, where orders are transmitted, for the safety of the aircraft.

Although numerous planes fly several kilometres away from the earth where the control room is located, the case is settled as long as the plane stays visible on radar, allowing the control room to lead, direct, and instruct the pilot of such a flight.

Even if they do not say it, everyone in the control room knows that when a flight disappears off the radar, there is a serious problem on their hands that will be difficult to handle with their wealth of knowledge unless something divine intervenes.

One of the reasons why many genuine and zealous Christians fall out of life's flight is that they fly on their own limited understanding rather than connecting with the divine control room, where they should receive frequent instructions for their journey.

Apostle Paul's letter to Titus in today's Bible reading can be likened to someone in the control room instructing a pilot on how to fly safely without crashing.

I pray, Abba Father, that, by Your tender mercies, You please help us not to disconnect from the divine control room in order to avoid crashing in Jesus' Name. SHALOM

TOPIC: FULFILLING PURPOSE ON A DIVINE PLATFORM. PART 22 (CONCLUSION)

TEXT: 2 TIMOTHY 4:18-22
¹⁸Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.

¹⁹Give my greetings to Priscilla and Aquila and those living in the household of Onesiphorus.

²⁰Erastus stayed at Corinth, and I left Trophimus sick at Miletus.

²¹Do your best to get here before winter. Eubulus sends you greetings, and so do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers and sisters.

²²May the Lord be with your spirit. And may his grace be with all of you.

MESSAGE
When people hear the word "deliverance," their thoughts immediately turn to household enemies and the like.

This narrow way of thinking about deliverance has led people to believe that deliverance is only for a specific group of people.

When one considers the experiences that Apostle Paul passed through while fulfilling his purpose on a divine platform, as well as his confession in today's Bible reading, one realises that he would have died unfulfilled but for God, who was there to deliver him from every evil attack.

Therefore, to fulfil one's destiny on a divine platform, one must solely rely on God to fight one's battles and deliver one from every opposition on the path to fulfiling one's purpose on that divine platform.

In conclusion, after fulfilling one's purpose on earth, one should not give up on getting to heaven, the place of eternal rewards, and one should not forget to appreciate everyone who plays a significant role in one's favour in the process of fulfilling one's purpose on earth.
