GOOD MORNING JESUS for Monday June 20th, 2022

Text: Psalms 104:1-5

Topic: God's Mighty Power

Preacher: Rev. Dr. E.O Ogundiya

Psalms 104:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
104:2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
104:3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
104:5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

The psalmist is talking about the great, mighty power of God.
When a king enters into a place, you will know, let alone the glory of God, who covers himself with light.
Making a flood of water as lintel/beams, the sky his chariot. He walketh upon the wings of the wind. No man can be described like this.
He laid the foundation of the earth that it should not be removed for ever.
This is the kind of God we serve, no man on earth has half of this power. He can make all day the same and you won't have cause to use electricity.

God has power over everything, he has power over your life, trust on this God.
He faileth not, he's not a man that gets tired of helping his people.
He's a God that walks on sea.

PRAYERS
I thank you O Lord for the type of God I'm serving.

You are mightier than the mightiest, greater than the greatest, I worship you, I adore you O Lord.

Psalm 14:1-2 we seek you O Lord and ask for the forgiveness of our sins, have mercy on us, in anyway we might have abandon you to seek men, O Lord forgive us.

Rock of ages, in your mightiness and power as I step out today, order my steps O Lord.

Lord do wonders in my life, I commit everything to you, my work, my finances and my family. O Lord make a way for me.

Acts of the Apostle 17:27-29: Lord glorify yourself in our lives, and be not far away from us in Jesus name.

We pray for favour and grace in our individual lives, business, work and families in Jesus name.

We pray you rekindle your fire in the heart of all our members in ECWA Onikoko and your churches worldwide.

Deliver your churches from evil and prove yourself that you alone are God.

We pray for those who are sick, using Mr Micah, Elder Labari as a point of contact to all those who are ill, we pray for divine healing in Jesus name.

We say thank you for the Hausa section of this church for progress and continuity, may your name alone be glorified in Jesus name.

GOOD MORNING JESUS for Monday June 13th, 2022

Text: Nehemiah 2:12

Topic: Some Steps To Success In Life

Nehemiah 2:12 And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any beast with me, save the beast that I rode upon.

Prophet Nehemiah is a man that succeeded in life.
Every one desire success students, civil servants, businessmen/woman

STEPS TO SUCCESS:

1. Understand what the Lord is leading you to do- Nehemiah 1:3-4
seek God's face, ask for directions. Nehemiah knew he has been called to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem.
Many don't understand why they are here, what's their purpose in life.

2. Commit your ways onto the hand of God
(Nehemiah 1:4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven)
he fasted and prayed and commit to God.

3. Learn to keep your vision until the right time, In Nehemiah 2:12, Nehemiah brought men with him but he never reveal it to them until the right time.

4. Share your vision with only those who understand your passion.
People have passion for different things in life, share your vision with only those who have such passion. (Joseph shared his vision with the wrong people).

PRAYERS:
Pray for necessary steps towards your success in life.

O Lord help me to take necessary steps to success in life.

O Lord what should I do concerning my life.

O Lord show me what to do, where to go, let me be able to do your will and your leading in Jesus name.

O Lord I put all my heart desires before you,
grant me success in accordance to your ways.

Help me O Lord not to divulge what I'm supposed to keep to myself. Help my children, may their glory shine in accordance to your will, so that we will not open doors for the enemies of our lives in Jesus name.

Lord help me and connect me with my destiny helpers (Nehemiah told the king what he's about to do and the king helped him).

Order my step Lord so I can walk with you accordingly.

Lord arise, let your leadership reign in this nation Nigeria.

Have mercy on this nation Nigeria, keep us safe from the hands of oppressors.

Let Nigeria and other parts of the world experience your peace in Jesus name.

O Lord cause your church to move forward, continue to increase your church and bless your people.

Text: Colossians 1:9-12

Topic: The Glory Of Christ In The Life Of His Children

Colossians 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Jesus told his disciples "in the world you will see tribulations"

The end time is near, we hear of different killings all around.
We need spiritual wisdom and understanding in this present time.
in verse 10: walk right with God
after all the tribulations in the world, for one to be a Christian, going to church, helping others and yet being killed but didn't make heaven, so what would be our gain?

PRAYER:
1. God showcase your glory in my life and give me more of your grace to showcase your glory.

2. Showcase your glory in my going out and coming in.

3. Lord have known you, may I not be a backslider every day of my life and never allow my attitude make me a backslider in Jesus name.

4. We pray for those suffering because of the gospel, O Lord comfort them and their families especially the families of those massacred yesterday in Owo, Ondo State.

5 O Lord stretch forth your mighty hand and touch the heart of this wicked ones so they can change for better the way you touch Saul on his way to Damascus.

6. and if they refuse to change from the killings of your people, let your thunder from above strike them in Jesus name.

7. As we go out today, may your glory radiate upon our life in Jesus name.

Topic: The Everlasting Mercy Of God

Psalms 138:1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
138:3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
138:4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
138:5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
138:6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

the Psalmist says he would worship God with his whole heart.

Do you remember the mercy you've received from God?

Many wants to become like small god in our lives, they want us to worship them but the everlasting mercy of God supersede them.

it's not by fasting, prayer, thoughts but the everlasting mercy of God.

PRAYER:
1. Lord I appreciate your everlasting mercy upon my life, family and entire household, I pray may it not cease in Jesus name.

2. O Lord let your mercy be upon your people in your church in Jesus name.

3. We ask for your mercy over this nation Nigeria, concerning security, economy and the forthcoming election.

4. I believe you will perfect that which concerneth me and my household today according to your word in Jesus name.

5. Anywhere I go today and whatever I lay my hands upon father, may failure be far away from me in Jesus name.

Topic: The right hand of God is doing victory

There might be mighty sea in front of you but remember the right hand of God...

Exodus 15:9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

when they passed, the Egyptians too entered the red Sea but God gave victory to the Israelites by engulfing the Egyptians in the sea.

when the good Lord do some wonders in your life, you will have cause to sing a victorious song like the Israelites in Jesus name.

The powers in the right hand of God...

PRAYERS:
May the right of God make a way for me where there seems to be no way in Jesus name.

May the right hand of God pull down every wall of Jericho in my life in Jesus name.

O Lord stretch forth your right hand to do wonders on people calling your name in this church and all our churches worldwide.

As everyone will be stepping out today, may your right hand be stretched-out over every of your children.

We pray for Nigeria, may your right hand avail for this country in Jesus name.

May the intention of the evil ones never have a hold upon me in Jesus name.

GOOD MORNING JESUS for Monday March 28th, 2022

Topic: God has prepared good things for you.

Isaiah 64:1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
64:2 As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
64:3 When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

God has prepared good things for you & your family today & all the days of your lives, all you needed is to follow & obey God.

God kept providing for the Israelites in the wilderness everyday without store or barns.

The psalmist says in Psalms 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

When you humble yourself before God, good things begin to manifest.

Isaiah 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
No one has ever seen any God like you, you never fails, you are omnipresent, omnipotent & omniscient

PRAYERS
1. I have come to you O Lord, manifest your power, let your mercy avail for me.

2. O Lord let big & small mountain rejoice before you because of me.

3. Let this day, this week be my week of victory in the mighty name of Jesus.

4. Let's pray for those waiting for something good, we pray for breakthrough in their individual lives in Jesus name.

5. We pray against any power, forces or barricades that doesn't want us to move forward, we remove them by the power in the name of Jesus

GOOD MORNING JESUS for Monday March 14th, 2022

Topic: May the good Lord help me destroy every dream killer.

Text: Genesis 37:5-8

What is a dream?
Dream might be what you were thinking about before you slept.
Dream can be a way God communicate with his people.

Only humans dream.

Joseph had a dream,

in verse 9, he dreamt yet another dream:

Read Genesis 37:9-10

His brothers hated him, he kept dreaming and revealing the dreams to his brethren

To make your dreams come to pass:
Proverbs 3:7-Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

there are times dreams may not be as fast as expected:
Joseph spent 13years before his dream could be fulfilled, he was dropped in a well, sold to slavery, imprisoned.

Abraham was a friend of God, and it took 25years before the promises of God comes to pass in his life.

It took Moses 40years before the fulfillment of that dream.

It took Jesus 30years before He could start his ministry.

Every good thing takes time, be patient and have faith in God.

PRAYER:
1. Every dream that I have, every good thing u have in plan for me I call upon your name this morning, O Lord bring it to fulfilment.

2. Every good dream that my spouse, kids, even parents have, may they fulfill such purpose in life in Jesus name.

3. Every dream killer in my family, in my neighborhood, that want to stand as hindrance to the fulfillment of my dream O Lord silence them, shut them up and nullify their plans in the name of Jesus.

4.Every good plans you have for my life and family O Lord take us there in the name of Jesus.

5. Let's pray for those that are sick physically and spiritually, O Lord we pray you lay your healing hands upon them, heal them completely and also for those seeking the fruit of the womb, answer their prayers & also for the expectant mothers, may God be with them and make them deliver safely.

6. O lord, let there be period of abundance & plenty in Nigeria in Jesus name.

Topic: Don't Keep Quiet

Text: Luke 18:35-43

The crowd told the blind man to be quiet and he shouted the more.
in Luke 18:41: Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

it can never be too late for God to do something.
what do you want God to do for you?

Jesus told him in Luke 18:42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

The ways of God are not the ways of men.
We serve a God that can put the enemies to shame, do you believe in HIM?

DON'T KEEP QUIET...

PRAYERS:
like Bartimaeus the blind, I call upon you to have mercy on me.

O Lord give me the courage not to give up on prayer in Jesus name.

Topic: FRUITFULNESS

Text: John 15:3-5

If you are going to be successful, achieve great things of life, you must abide in Christ.

Jesus is the vine, we are the branches. Our life(characters, behaviors) is the fruit we bear
Galatians 5:19-23.

How do I bear fruit to my neighbors, in my place of what? What type of fruit do I bear?
Can I give a helping hand even when not been asked?

PRAYERS:
God, make me to be fruitful as I go out today in Jesus name.

Lord, make me to depend upon you the vine in the name of Jesus (Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.)

When I bear fruit O Lord, let my fruit be preserved and may it last in Jesus name.

Ask God for protection, provision, promotion, good health, the remaining blessing and joy in this year is ours in Jesus name.

Lord as I call on you this morning, may my calling and prayer never be in vain in Jesus name.

GOOD MORNING JESUS for Monday December 6th, 2021

Text: Psalm 103:1-14

Give thanks to the Lord, o my soul and all that's within me.

for He's a gracious God, plenteous in mercy.

in verse 14: He knows everything about us, He knows we are just dust, He's been faithful despite our unfaithfulness. He never leaves or chides us.

Revelation 12:15-16
God can help us in any way possible, the serpent cast out water like a flood after the woman but God used the earth to swallow up the flood.

He's a God of mercy, helper, deliverer, forgiver.

PRAYERS:
Thank God for counting us among the living right from January to this present time.

Thank God for his Mercy, guidance, protection and provision all the days of your life.

Thank God for not chiding us according to our sins and unfaithfulness.

Thank God for the gift of Jesus Christ for the redemption of our sins.

Thank God for his church and for not letting the kingdom of darkness to overpower the church.

Thank God for making this church a church of light in this neighborhood and over the families he has been using.

Thank God over the baale of Onikoko for making him a pillar in his church, may no evil war have power over his life and family.

Thank God over the life of the Reverend in charge of this church, may God continue to uphold him and his family, may the sheeps in his flocks never be scattered.

Thank God for the family of Mr & Mrs Ogundipe, may the forthcoming wedding ceremony of their daughter be a success. No evil shall befall them before and after the wedding in Jesus name.

Thank God for every member of the church, may the good Lord continue to bless and be with them in their coming in and going out.

May the remaining days in this year be a joyful one for each and everyone of us in Jesus name.
