EXCERPTS FROM SUNDAY SERVICE
Topic: Change Your Appetite
Preacher: Rev. Bright O. Edada
Text: Exodus 8:1, Psalm 137:1–4, Psalm 126:1–4, Galatians 5:16–23
Key Points
✨ The primary purpose of deliverance is service. God delivers you so you can fulfill His purpose for your life.
✨ Everything God has given you, your gifts, time, body, resources, and opportunities, should ultimately serve His purpose.
✨ God does not want His blessings to become distractions. The blessing should draw you closer to purpose, not take you away from God.
✨ When things begin to go wrong, examine your walk with God and check where there may have been a disconnect.
✨ Your body, your mouth, and your money can all become instruments of service to God.
✨ When you return to God's purpose and align yourself with Him, restoration and joy follow.
✨ Do not become comfortable with sin. The longer you remain in it, the harder the heart becomes.
✨ The cost of living in sin is greater than the cost of living right. Sin can steal your peace, time, and progress.
✨ To overcome the works of the flesh, you must change your appetite. Stop feeding what pulls you away from God and begin feeding your spirit.
✨ When the fruit of the Spirit becomes evident in your life, the works of the flesh begin to lose their hold.

The 3 D's That Help You Stand Strong
1. Discipleship
Keep learning, growing, and allowing God's Word to shape you.
2. Discipline
Train yourself in prayer, fasting, obedience, and the things that strengthen your spirit.
3. Dedication
Give yourself completely to God and remain committed to His purpose.
