π ZION'S TRIBE
They threw him in a pit. God was already building a palace.
His brothers saw a dreamer.
They saw a problem, a boy too favored, too bold, too anointed.
So they stripped him of his coat.
They stripped him of his dignity.
They threw him into a pit with no water, then sat down to eat bread.
"As if he was already forgotten."
But heaven was watching.
Joseph went from the pit to Potiphar's house, and prospered.
Then from Potiphar's house to prison, and prospered still.
Because the favor of God doesn't leave a man just because his circumstances change.
You cannot strip what God has placed inside someone.
Years passed. Dreams were forgotten, or so it seemed.
Then one morning, Pharaoh woke up troubled.
And the only name that came was the name of the man in the prison.
"Joseph didn't chase the throne. The throne sent for him."
He was bathed, dressed, and brought before the most powerful man in the world.
And in one moment, one divine, orchestrated, perfectly-timed moment,
everything changed.
Genesis 50:20 β "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good."
Here is the lesson, Tribe:
God doesn't just deliver you "from" the pit.
He uses the pit to "prepare" you for the palace.
Every betrayal was a classroom.
Every prison season was a training ground.
Every year of silence was God building the character to match the crown.
You are not forgotten.
You are not behind.
You are not disqualified because of what was done to you.
"You are being processed."
The same God who kept Joseph in every dark season is keeping you right now.
And the moment He's ready,
no door, no person, no past will be able to stop what He releases over your life.
Type "JOSEPH" in the comments if you believe God is turning your pit into a palace. π
