OVERCOMING UNFRUITFULNESS IN THE FAITH LIFE 1

1. God hates unfruitfulness
John 15:1-2
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

2. Unfruitfulness in the life of a believer is the inability to convince anyone that Jesus is both Christ and Lord.


3. Your life purpose as a believer is to go, bring forth fruit, and retain them.

John 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Mark the two things: chosen and ordained. How does God do the two things?

Chosen in Christ

Romans 8:28-30
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

REVIVE YOUR FAMILY ALTAR

James 5:16-18

1. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much
a. So, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous family availeth much more. Two are better than one!
b. Whatever you can accomplish alone, you can multiply as a family.

2. Family altar reflects personal altars just as church altar reflects family altars.
a. Pray without ceasing (1Thess.5:17) then, pass it on!

May God unite every member of your family in Christ in Jesus' name!

YOU HAVE OVERCOME THEM

1John 4:4

1. Victory is a legal right of every believer.

2. Recognize that we don't have any battles to fight. There's only one battle in life and that is the battle between light and darkness; heaven and hell; God and Satan. Every other battle ensue from this one.
b. The battle is not your own. You can't even fight it. It's the Lord's! And praise be His name: He has won it!

3. Understand that our Victory in the realm of the spirit depends on positioning.
a. Victory is determined by position not effort.
b. If you are on the side of the stronger, you share in the victory. If you are positioned with the mighty, you will never become a captive.
c. You are of God (the Greater One)
Rom.8:31- God is FOR us, no one can be against us.
Ehp.2:4-6; 1:20-23- we are raised with Christ and seated together with Him above all.

3. Never be intimidated by the noise of the Devil. Focus on the voice of God and nothing can get you down.
b. Your Victory is inside you..."because Greater is He that is IN you..." Look inside for victory.

Confession:
I take the authority over every work of darkness against my life and destiny in the name of Jesus. I exercise my dominion and victory over every influence of the Devil over my society, and around the world and bring them under obedience to Christ, in Jesus' name! Amen.
