SUNDAY BLESSINGS FROM SOUL CLINIC INTERNATIONAL
‎
‎THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT — A LIFE THAT LOOKS LIKE CHRIST 🕊️
‎
‎Happy Sunday, beloved ❤️
‎
‎Let us reflect on one of the most beautiful signs of a life that is surrendered to God: the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
‎
‎The Bible tells us in Galatians 5:22–23:
‎
‎“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance…”
‎
‎Notice that Scripture says “fruit”, not fruits. These qualities are not separate decorations we choose according to our convenience; they are evidence of the Holy Spirit working within us.
‎
‎LOVE — Loving even when it is difficult. Choosing to forgive, show kindness, and treat others with genuine compassion.
‎
‎JOY — A joy that is not dependent on perfect circumstances. Even in difficult seasons, we can rejoice because our hope is in God.
‎
‎PEACE — Remaining calm and trusting God even when life around us is uncertain. The peace of God gives us stability when circumstances try to shake us.
‎
‎LONGSUFFERING — Learning patience with people, situations, and even ourselves. It is the grace to endure without becoming bitter or giving up.
‎
‎GENTLENESS — Choosing to respond with kindness rather than harshness. Sometimes, the greatest demonstration of strength is a gentle spirit.
‎
‎ GOODNESS — Doing what is right, even when nobody is watching. Our character should reflect Christ both publicly and privately.
‎
‎FAITH — Remaining faithful and trustworthy while continuing to believe God, even when we cannot yet see the outcome.
‎
‎MEEKNESS — Having strength under control. It is not weakness; it is humility that allows us to submit our will to God and treat others with grace.
‎
‎TEMPERANCE/SELF-CONTROL — Learning to govern our words, emotions, desires, and actions instead of allowing them to control us.
‎
‎Beloved, the question this Sunday is not simply, “Do I go to church?” or “Do I call myself a Christian?”
‎
‎The deeper question is:
‎
‎“Can people see the character of Christ growing in me?”
‎
‎The fruit of the Spirit is developed as we walk closely with God. We cannot manufacture it by our own strength. We must remain connected to Christ, surrender to the Holy Spirit, study God's Word, pray, and allow God to continually transform our hearts.
‎
‎A tree is known by its fruit. Likewise, our lives should reveal who lives within us.
‎
‎This week, let us not only pray for blessings from God; let us also ask Him to make us better vessels—more loving, patient, peaceful, gentle, faithful, humble, good, and self-controlled.
‎
‎May the Holy Spirit help us to bear fruit that will glorify God and bless everyone around us.
‎
‎May our lives preach Christ even when our mouths are silent. May our character reflect Jesus. May our homes, relationships, workplaces, churches, and communities experience the evidence of the Holy Spirit through us. 🙏❤️
‎
‎Have a blessed and fruitful Sunday!
