If you are always around me,

You must have probably gotten tired of me saying that

“Leadership is about Problem solving”

Because a leader sees a problem not as a problem as most people will see it; but rather as something he can always do something it.

So the next time you see your self feeling like you have a solution to the same thing a lot of people are complaining about and doing absolutely nothing to solve it, right at that moment I need you to catch yourself reassuring yourself that you are a leader.

The quickest way to leadership is problem solving.

A leader assumes responsibilities. He leaves things/people/places better than he met them.

He understands that anyone can complain just about anything and everything yet not lift a finger to changing.

However, rather than joining the complaining multitude, he takes a different path. He musters up courages, he initiates plans, he mobilizes, he executes

Right there, he does his bit, he shapes perspective by his actions, he leads not by position but by his disposition.

And that my friend is the hallmark of leadership.

PEOPLE YOU SHOULD NOT BE DEALING WITH

It took me almost a decade of being in the Business space to fully comprehend this.

Not everyone is worth going into business with who does not have this one thing

That one thing is “a name”.

I am not just talking about a nomenclature but a reputation built over time.

The most difficult people to deal with are people who do not have a name to protect.

To not have a name means that there is no set of value or reputation you are aligned with and that you seek to protect.

What that says is;

“Anything goes”

Anyone who says that clearly has nothing to lose.

Any business or deal with that person will be to your own peril as the outcome will be unpredictable.

Anybody who has truly built or is building something significant knows that good name is better than precious ointment.

They understand that you can always loose money and gain it back but when a name is lost, damaged or disparaged it rarely comes back to the same.

So they guide themselves properly, they buy into certain values and principle just to help them retain that good name.

Is there someone you are currently working with or seeking to get into business whether personal or otherwise?

Ask yourself;

How much is their name worth in the market and how much are they will do to to protect it?

If you doubt if it adds up, I think you already have your answers

A leader is not a consultant.

A leader is a “badass” ex*****oner.

He doesn’t just merely talk, he validates his leadership through proven results.

He does not just think, or spend times strategizing,

He understand that at the end of the day, the job of a leader is to get the work done either through him or through the people with him on the mission of accomplishing the journey.

So he rallies resources, becomes more resourceful, embodies work oriented habits and values all in abit to execute excellently.

The job of a leader is to lead the people into a desired future or experience and cannot achieve that except he understands strategic implementation and swift ex*****on.

INITIAL RESISTANCE

As one who is currently undergoing this route,

Let me give you a keynote advice.

It won’t be easy.

You will question your intentions,

You will face criticism and backlash,

You will make terrible mistakes that wil cost you a lot,

You will compromise your values,

You will contemplate easier routes,

You will miss your way,

You will face delays, setbacks,

All of those I categorize as initial resistance.

They are essential for your breakthrough.

All part of the Law of wasted effort.

The law states that achieving success requires multiple attempts, and many efforts will seem to “fail” before a breakthrough happens

If you going through a lot of resistance right now, it’s not essentially to test how much you believe in that thing.

Go through it faster, so you can start eventually succeeding.
