That journey which started with blick hopes is advancing. We are already at the nineth of the the twelve months thatmakesa year. It can only be God.
Every pregnancy comes with joy and fear: Joy because a new member is about to be added to our beautiful family but fear of the uncertainties of the labour room. But in all, the nineth month is a month of great expectations, and it will be fair to be positively expectant anyway, especially, since Ebenezer is in-charge.
We are in the nineth month and coincidentally it is the month that offers all of us a step-to-Ember. It's just a step to harvest. Have you laboured and ploughed faithfully? Rejoice because it is harvest time and it can't give less.
Buh let me warn; it must be of a harvest to increase not for squandering. Away with the spirit of:
"And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry."
Luke 12.19
This is the wrong mindset which has let many int irrecoverable loses. The greatest of the joy of the Ember should be the joy that comes when you look back and see how far the Lord brought you.
If the first step be sordid, the next and indeed subsequent steps will maintain the balance. September should set your tone for what the remaining months will be for you. For to be happy and poised for merriment, we will, but not at the expense of continuity. Because we labour to be here let's open our eyes against the temptations for wasteful lifestyle.
As you run through this month, just be open to possibilities. God will amaze you with the joy of true harvest. Be courageous and at alert. Sacrifices which you may not remember are going to be the basis of His visitation in this month of delivery. Optimism and alertness should be the watchword, because men who want to eat where they did not sow are hanging around. Don't fall pray to their motivational gimmicks. Stay focused and stay around your field reminding God of your labour in the field. The Ember time is usually a time to be awake. Their jealousy over your bountiful harvest can make them to do anything including attack on lives. Please don't sleep at your harvest time. You don't keep back the good potion from someone that is awake. Be on your guide. I have a conviction that this Ember will change your story for good but only if you will guarrantee smooth and conscious engagements this September.
