In an effort to contribute to their alma mater, the Nigerian Christian Secondary School Old Students Association, NCSSOSA has constructed and handed over to the school Authority, a fully furnished modern toilet facility.
Speaking While handing over the facility to the principal, on behalf of the school, the Alumni president, Pastor Ini Nwoko said the association had always been thinking of ways to contribute to the growth of the school. The NCSSOSA president stressed the importance of having befitting and modern toilet facility within the school, adding that apart from providing convenience, such a facility will boost the sanitary condition of the school.
" You can't ignore the importance of having good toilet facilities around this school. There is no doubt that this effort will give a great boost to the sanitary condition of this school"
Pastor Nwoko who was represented by the Vice President, National of the association, Engineer Bassey Nsentip urged the school authority to ensure proper maintenance of the facilities to serve the purpose it was intended.
"I know that maintenance can be a challenge, when it comes to public facilities but I plead that the school authority does everything possible to ensure proper maintenance of these facility, because if that is not done, this effort cannot serve its intended purpose"
According to the president, the construction of the toilet facility which comprises seven rooms fully furnished with sanitary facilities, a water stand and a-three THOUSAND liters water tank, fully regulated started in 2022 and was completed in 2024, under the supervision of Engineer Ekerette Ukere.
In his response, the principal of Nigerian Christian Secondary School, Ukpom, Abak Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Imo Okorie thanked the Alumni Association for thinking of ways to improve the condition of the school.
