INTRODUCTION:
A reflection on the Apostle Paul's words to Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:6,
Where Paul wrote, "Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God which is in thee by the putting on of my hands."

Paul's words carry the idea of repeating an earlier action or doing something again. It is important that our trademark, "The Fire of the Holy Ghost," be rekindled if we must go with the name or slogan "AG for life!"

We have to be enthusiastic, fervent, passionate, vigorous, wholehearted, and zealous.

In classical Greek, fire was a life-giving force. Fire was used on the heart of every ancient home to keep the people warm.

It was used in matters related to the divine and the supernatural, and it was used as a force to defeat enemies.

Fire was central to life and considered essential for one's existence. Our lives are unsustainable without fire.

In this season of walking in the light, it is wisdom that we walk in the light. Paul's words to Timothy imply that the fire in his heart had ebbed to embers on a low burn.

We must begin to passionately and rigorously stoke and stir up the gift of God in our life. We must wake up and take action.

3. To grow in the things of the Spirit

4. To live like Christ

5. To join in Evangelism

6. To win souls for Christ

7. To determine to follow in the Lord's service

8. To seek for the progress of the Church

9. To give your resources for the Lord's work

10. To make every time useful and profitable

Our Scriptural Mandate
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (1 Tim 4:12, KJV)

OUR DEEPEST APPRECIATION TO ALL AG WOMEN.
I write to deeply felicitate and appreciate all AG women ably led by the Women Ministries Director, Rev Mrs. Best Chioma Amadi (My dear wife) on this cheering occasion of 2024 National Women's Ministries Day holding this Sunday 12th May in all Assemblies of God Churches nationwide.

The Board of Administration (BoA), the Executive Committee, All Unit leaders, Pastors, and Members are indeed grateful for your immense contributions to the church, our families, and the Nation. Your positive influence and Impacts vividly NOTICEABLE on all areas -finance, business, minister's Upkeep, evangelism as well as the Godly upbringing of our children are recognized and appreciated. Life wouldn't have been interesting without your roles.

The entire church rises on this occasion to celebrate your resilience, dexterity, love, managerial skills, and affection. May the Good LORD shower His abundant blessings on our Mothers and Keep them alive to reap the fruit of their labour. Amen.
