*Passion Week*

The Holy Saturday:

*Attribute* :-
Where as, the body of our slain saviour, Jesus the Christ lay resting in the grave observing the jewish sabbath day; his soul was actively working to wrap-up the conclusive mandate of salvation, redemption and securing eternal rest for the righteous ones before His coming and, utimately, prepare for His glorious RESURRECTION.

*Points to Ponder* :
_1. While his body was in the tomb, Jesus' soul descended into the abode of the dead, known as Sheol in Hebrew or Hades in Greek. This was not a descent into the place of eternal damnation (Gehenna), but rather a realm where righteous souls awaited the Redeemer's coming.
2. Jesus went to this place to free the righteous who had died before him, such as Abraham, Isaac and others, offering them eternal life in God's presence.
3. Jesus preached the Gospel to these spirits, announcing his victory over death and the cross._

*Hallelujah!*
