Question: Pastor, is it okay for a believer to still believe in rituals, dead people, and traditional doctors?
ANSWER β ππππππ πππππ:
Is it okay for a believer to still believe in rituals? What kind of rituals? And then believe in dead people? What do you mean by dead people? Iβm not entirely sure what your question means, but I can make a little assumption here.
If by βritualsβ you mean some kind of sacrifices or ceremonial acts done in respect to certain gods or deitiesβ¦ and by βcalling on dead peopleβ you mean thinking they have some kind of powerβ¦ and by βtraditional doctorsβ you mean juju priests who use spiritual forcesβ¦
If thatβs what you mean, then a Christian shouldnβt have anything to do with any of that. Thatβs of the world β and itβs demonic.
A Christian shouldnβt believe in those things. You already have the Greater One living in you!
As a child of God, youβve come out of all these things. You have Jesus Christ β and Jesus is not dead, He is alive!
The Bible says God raised Him from the dead. We follow the Living Christ β not lifeless idols made of wood or stone, or so-called βgodsβ in human or animal form.
The Bible says there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. God has given to Jesus a name above every name β that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow β of things in heaven, things in earth, and things under the earth.
There is only ONE name by which men can be saved, and that name is JESUS CHRIST! Once you follow Jesus, all others are not to be recognized.
Do you agree that JESUS is the ONLY name worth following?
Yes, Absolutely!
