The Holy Spirit did not come into our lives merely to make us feel spiritual. He came bearing divine equipment. Scripture says, “The manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.” - 1 Corinthians 12:7.
In other words, what God has placed in you was never meant to remain buried in you. There is something heaven wants to express through your life that someone else may need.
Today, Day 57 of our 90 Days of Prayer, we are praying for the gifts of the Spirit to be stirred again.
For dormant gifts to wake up.
For courage to replace hesitation.
For discernment to become sharper, faith to become bolder, and the power of the Holy Spirit to find expression through ordinary people who are simply willing to yield.
We are not asking for gifts to impress people; we are asking for gifts that build the Church, confirm the Gospel, break yokes and point people back to Jesus.
So, as this beautiful Wednesday begins, don't bury what God deposited in you because you're waiting to feel “ready.” Stir it.
Yield to the Spirit. Make yourself available.
There is a world around you that may never read a Bible before meeting you, but they can encounter Christ through the life you live and the grace you carry.
And this evening, we gather again for Midweek BREATHE service at 4:30PM. Come with your heart open and your spirit ready.
Perhaps what God wants to stir in you doesn't need another postponement, it needs an atmosphere of surrender.
The gift is there. The Spirit is here. The question is: will you yield? 🤔
