Text: John 14:16–17
Introduction
When we accept Christ, we are not left alone. Jesus promised the Holy Spirit — our Helper, our Guide, and our Comforter. He is actively at work in every believer's life in three key ways.
What the Holy Spirit Does in Us
1. He Gives Us a New Life
The Holy Spirit transforms us from the inside out. Old habits and patterns begin to change — we are no longer who we used to be.
2. He Convicts Us of Sin
When we go wrong, the Holy Spirit stirs our conscience and gently draws us back to God. Not to condemn us — but to correct and restore us.
3. He Helps Us Know Right from Wrong
He sharpens our discernment so we can see life through God's eyes and make decisions that align with His will.
Closing Thought
The cross made our salvation possible. The Holy Spirit makes our transformation real. Yield to His work — He is doing something powerful in you.

God is rarely silent,it is we who are always distracted.

The greatest thing the holy Spirit produces in a believer is not power neither is it the ability to speak in tongues.it is the fruit in your life.

The first step to having the holy Spirit is to know Jesus.
