A HARVEST OF GRATITUDE:SDA CHURCH ABA HEADQUARTERS CELEBRATES 2025 HARVEST.

​In an atmosphere of profound gratitude and thanksgiving,the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church Aba Headquarters celebrated its 2025 Harvest on the Sabbath of November 22, 2025, in unity.

​In a divine arrangement,​the Church organized its fundraising efforts into twelve groups,mirroring the twelve biblical tribes of Israel.These groups competed to meet the established harvest goals. The celebration highlighted the exceptional efforts of the Benjamin Group,which was recognized as the most outstanding contributor to the 2025 Harvest program.

In his harvest sermon tagged"What Kind of Crop Am I?"the SDA Church Aba Headquarters District Leader,Pastor Stephen Udochi Ogbonna delivered an inspiring sermon,drawing from Bible texts from John 14:2-3,15:5-6, and Revelation 22:14-15,the message focused on spiritual preparedness for Christ's Second Coming.​Pastor Ogbonna emphasized that Christians must maintain godly character,likening spiritual growth to the features of a quality crop:

​Physically Healthy:A call for believers to maintain a healthy lifestyle in Christ to positively influence others.

​Genetic Purity: Christians should constantly portray the character of God, resembling the seed they sprung from.

​Physiological Quality (Viability): Encouraging Christians to emulate Jesus Christ as a means of effective witnessing and soul-winning.

​Seed Health (Non-Infectious):A strong admonition to avoid "dirty character" and ungodly traits,urging the Church to be spiritually healthy and spotless to access God’s deliverance and blessings.

​The celebration was a powerful testament to the faithfulness of God and the dedication of the congregation.

"Faithfulness: The Key to Divine Blessing"
The occasion of the ordination of new pastors and leaders in the Eastern Nigerian Union Conference was a momentous one, marked by inspiring words from the preacher and leader, Pastor Professor Ambassador B.E.O. Udo. With the key text Luke 16:12, "And if you have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own?", Pastor Udo charged the ordinands, pastors, and members to be faithful in God's work.

The Imperative of Faithfulness
Faithfulness is a fundamental virtue in the Christian life. It is the foundation upon which God builds His kingdom. As Pastor Udo emphasized, faithfulness is the key to divine blessing. When we are faithful in the little things, God entrusts us with greater responsibilities. However, if we are unfaithful in the small things, we risk missing out on the greater blessings that God has in store for us.

Honoring Leadership
Pastor Udo also highlighted the importance of honoring leadership. He reminded the congregation that honoring those in authority is a biblical principle that is essential for our own growth and development as leaders. When we honor our leaders, we demonstrate our respect for authority and our willingness to submit to God's order.

A Call to Faithfulness
The message of Pastor Udo was a clarion call to faithfulness. He urged the ordinands, dignitaries, pastors, and members over one thousand five hundred that grace the occasion to be faithful in their stewardship of God's resources. He reminded them that faithfulness is not just about what we do, but also about who we are. When we are faithful, we reflect the character of God, who is faithful to His promises.

Conclusion
The occasion of the ordination was a moment of great joy and celebration.
