THE RITUALS THAT DISTINGUISHED APOSTLE REX

An Inspiring Real Life Story By Frank Omekedo

Chapter Four:👉 The Ritual of Purity

There was one habit Brother Rex practiced with unusual seriousness.

Purity.

Not merely outward cleanliness.

But purity of thought, speech, association, and intention.

He believed spiritual powers weakened whenever a man compromised secretly.

“Small corruption destroys great destinies,” he often warned.

“Like the Scriptures say in Gal.5.9, A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.”

He avoided dishonest money completely.

Several wealthy individuals tried offering him gifts with hidden expectations, but he rejected them politely.

One politician once arrived with an expensive car as a gift.

Brother Rex thanked him but refused to accept it.

“Anything that controls my conscience is too expensive,” he explained.

The politician left angrily.

But Brother Rex remained peaceful.

One other ritual which distinguished him is the fact that he never insulted other ministers publicly.

Even when provoked.

“God did not call me to compete,” he said.

Many young preachers admired and look up to him because of this.
His nature of humility was impossible to ignore.

Yet humility never reduced his authority.

Whenever he prayed, even stubborn situations shifted and bowed out.

I remember a particular night vividly.

A young woman possessed by violent spirits was brought to the church.

Several men struggled to hold her down.

People shouted in fear.

But Brother Rex walked quietly toward her.

He did not scream.

He simply looked into her eyes and said softly:

“Jesus is Lord here.”

Immediately the atmosphere changed.

The woman collapsed peacefully.

Silence filled the room.

Even unbelievers trembled.

Afterward, while everyone celebrated the miracle, Brother Rex disappeared quietly behind the church building.

I later found him there praying alone.

Not celebrating.

Not boasting.

Just thanking God.

That moment impacted me deeply.

Many people desire power.

But few desire purity.

Brother Rex desired and exhibited both.

And perhaps that was why heaven trusted him continuously.

THE RITUALS THAT DISTINGUISHED APOSTLE REX

An Inspiring Real Life Story By Frank Omekedo

Chapter Three:👉 The Mystery of Accuracy

One of the greatest mysteries surrounding Brother Rex was his astonishing accuracy in prophecy.

He never guessed.

He never manipulated.
And strangely, he never advertised his gift.

People simply experienced results.

One afternoon, a wealthy businessman visited our home in desperation. His companies were collapsing, and almost everyone had abandoned him.

Brother Rex listened quietly while the man explained his problems.

Then he closed his eyes briefly.

“The issue began three years ago after a dishonest contract in Port Harcourt,” he said calmly.

The businessman’s face turned pale.

No one else except himself knew of it.

Brother Rex continued.
“You betrayed a trusted partner. Return what belongs to him, and your restoration will begin.”

The man burst into tears.

Weeks later, he returned with testimonies of recovery.

That was how it always happened.

No drama.

No exaggeration.

Only truth.

Yet despite his spiritual power, Brother Rex lived modestly.

He disliked extravagance.

He often wore simple clothes and gave away money faster than he kept it.

Sometimes his wife complained.

“You cannot save everyone,” she would say.

He would smile gently.

“I may not save everyone, but I must help whoever God places before me as it deems.”

One rainy evening, while walking through muddy streets after a church gathering, he suddenly stopped.

“Someone nearby is crying for help,” he whispered.

We followed him through narrow paths until we reached a small hut where an elderly widow was seriously ill and abandoned.

No one had informed him.

Yet somehow he knew.
He prayed for her, bought food and medicine, and arranged for neighbors to care for her.

As we walked home later, I finally gathered courage to ask him.

“How do you know these things?”

He looked at me carefully.

“Compassion sharpens spiritual hearing. One thing is to be human and another is to be humane. There is no humanity as intended by God without being humane”

In my little mind, that answer confused me for years.

But gradually as I grew, I understood.

Brother Rex’s strength did not come merely from prayer rituals.

It came from love.

Genuine love.

He truly cared about people.

And perhaps heaven trusted him with power because his heart remained pure.

Still, not everyone appreciated him.

Many religious leaders sometimes criticized him secretly.

Others accused him falsely because of jealousy.

But his life continually defended itself.

One day, on hearing terrible rumors about himself, I expected him to become angry.

Instead, he laughed softly.

“When people cannot explain grace, they attack it.”

Then he continued studying his Bible peacefully.

I watched him closely that night.

And for the first time, I realized that greatness carries loneliness.

The higher a man rises spiritually, the fewer people truly understand him.

But Brother Rex never allowed loneliness to harden his heart.

He remained compassionate.

That was his greatest miracle.

THE RITUALS THAT DISTINGUISHED APOSTLE REX

An Inspiring Real Life Story By Frank Omekedo

Chapter Two:👉 The Discipline of Silence

Moving into Brother Rex’s house felt like entering another world.

The atmosphere was different.

The compound was always clean.

The rooms were simple.

There was no unnecessary noise, no gossip, no disorder.

Even the air seemed organized.

I quickly realized that his life followed invisible principles.

He woke up every day at exactly 4:00 a.m.

Not sometimes.

Every single day.

The first morning I heard the sound of his voice praying in the darkness, fear gripped me.

It was not ordinary prayer. It sounded like a man holding conversations with heaven.

He would kneel beside his bed for hours.

Sometimes whispering.

Sometimes weeping.

Sometimes commanding invisible forces with authority.

One morning, out of curiosity, I pretended to remain asleep while watching him carefully.

Suddenly he stopped praying.

Without turning around, he spoke.

“Never spy on sacred moments, son.”

I became transfixed.

My heart nearly stopped.

How did he know?

He slowly turned toward me with a smile.

“The Spirit reveals more than eyes can see.” He said.

That day marked the beginning of my understanding that Brother Rex was not ordinary.

Yet what amazed me most was his discipline.

He fasted often.

Sometimes three days.

Sometimes seven.

Sometimes longer.

But he never announced it publicly.

People only discovered accidentally.

He taught me that true spirituality was not performance.

“Power grows in secret places,” he would always say.

He disliked noise and unnecessary attention.

Whenever people praised him excessively after miracles or prophecies, he tactically and quietly changed the subject.

“Glory belongs to God,” he would insist.

At home, he corrected everyone firmly but lovingly.

His wife once asked him why he rarely defended himself against false accusations.

He answered gently:

“A tree full of fruits receives the most stones.”

Those words get rooted with me.

Many people admired him, but some secretly envied him.

Yet he never fought anyone.

He simply remained focused.

One evening, while returning from a prayer meeting, we encountered a drunk man insulting him publicly.

I became angry and wanted to confront the man.

But Brother Rex held my shoulder.

“Silence is sometimes the loudest victory.”

Then he continued walking peacefully.

A week later, that same drunk man came crying to apologize after surviving a terrible accident.

Brother Rex welcomed him with compassion instead of revenge.

That was his way.

He conquered hatred with mercy.

As months passed, I discovered another ritual that distinguished him.

He guarded his words carefully.

He never spoke carelessly.

If he promised something, it happened.

If he warned about danger, it came to pass.

And if he prayed over a matter, results followed.

People visited the house from distant places.

Some sought healing.
Others sought direction.

But regardless of their status, Brother Rex treated everyone equally.

To him, humanity itself was sacred.

Watching him daily slowly transformed my own understanding of greatness.

True greatness, I realized, was not noise.

It was consistency in what he believed.

THE RITUALS THAT DISTINGUISHED APOSTLE REX

An Inspiring Real Life Story By Frank Omekedo

Chapter One:👉 The Stranger With Mysteries

In all ramifications, Rex was not one of such a man to be grouped as common with others.

He was definitely different in all natural calculations and comparisons to everyone else.

The first time I truly noticed Brother Rex, the harmattan wind was blowing dust across our village paths, and the evenings carried the scent of firewood and roasted corn.

I was still a young boy then, yes very tender: too innocent to understand life, too curious to ignore mysteries.

I knew my father to be a well respected traditionalist, who rarely entertained visitors for long.

Most people who came to see him were either there to sought spiritual guidance, settlement of disputes, or blessings from ancestral customs.

Yet there was one man who was different.

Among all who encountered my dad, Brother Rex was unlike anyone I ever saw.

Tall, broad-shouldered, and always neatly dressed in simple but distinct clothes, he carried himself with a strange mixture of humility and authority.

No trace of pride in his dispositions.

His deep masculine voice sounded like rolling thunder softened by kindness.

Whenever he walked into our compound, conversations around the neighborhood seemed to pause.

What fascinated me most was not his appearance but the atmosphere that followed him was always PEACE.

He usually came with a worn Bible tucked under his arm.

He and my father would sit under the mango tree for hours, speaking in hushed voices while occasionally flipping through scripture passages from his Bible.

As tradition demanded, my father always would present assorted kola nuts and local drinks, most being alcohol before visitors.

Yet Brother Rex never touched them.

“Water only,” he would say gently.

At first, I thought it was pride.

But one evening, my father became visibly irritated by his refusal to be entertained.

“You often refuse my kolas every time,” my dad complained. “And I won’t take yours either (indirectly referring to his preaching).”

Brother Rex smiled calmly.

“There are covenants a man must keep if he desires to remain pure before God.”

I did not understand those words then.

But I never forgot them.

Sometimes during their conversations, Father would become argumentative while Rex remained calm.

Instead of raising his voice, he would quietly open his Bible and read.

His words carried strange conviction.

I often stood nearby pretending to sweep the compound or engaged just to hear him speak.

He talked about God as though He were physically present.

Not a distant spirit.

Not merely religion.

But a living reality.

Then tragedy came.

My father suddenly passed away.

The world I knew collapsed overnight.

The compound that once felt secure became empty and cold. Relatives argued endlessly about inheritance, customs, and responsibilities. In the middle of my confusion, one person remained constant with a fatherly figure.

Brother Rex.

He visited almost daily.

His attentive response to the needs of our family helped to comfort my grieving mother.

He constantly prayed over us.

He brought food when there was none.

And unlike others who spoke pity filled words, he spoke hope.

One evening, after observing our suffering silently, he turned to my mother.

“Let the boy come stay with me.”

That single sentence changed my life forever.

I had no idea that the next nine years under his roof would expose me to mysteries, discipline, sacrifice, and spiritual rituals that would helped me to know why Apostle Rex is forever distinguish from every other man I would ever meet in my lifetime.

That request came with an extraordinary deep relief within me, carrying a whisper of something that my journey had only begun.

CHAPTER TWELVE

The Fifth Seal

One evening after ministering before thousands, Daniel returned quietly to his hotel room and stood before the window overlooking the city lights.

Memories flooded his mind.

The couch.

The candles.

The dove.

The chariot.

The snake bite.

The near-death moments.

Everything now made sense.

He finally understood that every attack had only strengthened his testimony.

Every battle had become advertisement for divine purpose.

As he knelt to pray, tears rolled freely down his face.

“Lord,” he whispered, “let Your will alone remain.”

Suddenly, peace filled the room.

The same peace that had surrounded him since childhood.

And deep within his spirit came the quiet assurance:

“The journey has only begun.”

The End.

CHAPTER ELEVEN

Across the Continents

Years later, Daniel finally began travelling internationally.

America.

Europe.

Asia.

Australia.

Africa.

Exactly as the prophet had declared.

Crowds gathered massively.

Miracles followed.

Presidents sought private meetings.

Business leaders requested counsel.

Broken people found hope through his ministry.

Yet despite global recognition, Daniel never forgot the small apartment where the journey began.

The candles.

The prayers.

His parents.

Especially his father.

Because Emmanuel had seen his destiny long before anyone else.

And his prayers had preserved it.

CHAPTER TEN

The Weight of Calling

As Daniel matured, the burden of ministry grew heavier.

Crowds admired the miracles.

Few understood the sacrifices.

He spent countless nights in fasting and prayer.

Sleep became rare.

Loneliness increased.

Sometimes he wished for an ordinary life.
But destiny never released him.

One night while praying alone, he heard clearly within his spirit:

“You were preserved for nations.”

Tears filled his eyes.

At last, he fully understood the meaning behind the candles, the dove, the maps, and the repeated encounters surrounding the number five.

Everything had been preparation.

CHAPTER NINE

Fame and Fire

News of Daniel’s survival spread quickly across cities and churches.

Invitations began arriving from everywhere.
People wanted prayers.

Prophecies.

Miracles.

Crowds gathered wherever he appeared.

Yet with fame came danger.

Several mysterious attempts were made against his life.

One evening, armed robbers stopped the vehicle he travelled in.

Oddly, their guns refused to fire.

Another time, a speeding truck lost control and headed directly toward him before suddenly swerving away at impossible speed.

Even poison failed.

Each escape increased public curiosity.
People called him untouchable.

But Daniel understood something deeper.

Every attack only advertised God’s protection.

And every survival strengthened his assignment.

CHAPTER EIGHT

The Snake Bite

At age fifteen, Daniel travelled with friends to a rural village for an evangelism outreach.

The atmosphere felt peaceful until evening.

As they walked through a bush path after prayers, Daniel suddenly screamed.

A snake had bitten him.

Within minutes, his body weakened dangerously.

Foam gathered around his mouth.

Villagers rushed him toward the nearest clinic.

The doctor examined him urgently.

Minutes passed.

Then came the verdict.

“He’s gone.”

Rebecca fainted immediately.

His friends began crying loudly.

But something extraordinary happened.

Nearly twenty minutes later, Daniel gasped violently and sat upright on the hospital bed.

The doctor stumbled backward in terror.

His pulse had returned.

His breathing stabilized.

Nobody could explain it.

But Daniel himself remembered something strange.

During those moments, he claimed he saw himself standing before a river of light while voices repeatedly declared:

“Your time has not yet come.”

That incident changed everything permanently.

People everywhere began talking about him.

The boy who returned from death.

Next is Chapter Nine.
