_That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved._

Salvation comes through our declaration of faith, which affirms our acknowledgement of the Lordship of Christ, believing that He resurrected from the dead. However, many believers have yet to come into an experiential knowledge of what was accomplished on the cross.
