*foundation of our walk without blemish!*Here is how baptism is *supposed* to be conducted according to Scripture:

1. WHO SHOULD BE BAPTIZED?
- One who has *believed and repented* - not infant
*Mark 16:16* - "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved"
*Acts 2:38* - "Repent, and be baptized..."
*Acts 8:37* - Ethiopian eu**ch: "If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest"

2. MODE: HOW? IMMERSION - FULL DIPPING
The Greek word *BAPTIZO* means to immerse, dip, plunge.

- *Not sprinkling, not pouring* - must go DOWN into water and come UP.
- *Matthew 3:16* - Jesus "went up straightway OUT OF the water"
- *John 3:23* - John baptized where there was "much water"
- *Acts 8:38-39* - Philip and eu**ch "went down both INTO the water... came up OUT OF water"
- *Romans 6:4* - "Buried with him by baptism" - burial is full covering!

3. IN WHAT NAME?
*This is crucial for Ministering Without Blemish!*

- *Matthew 28:19* - Jesus said baptize "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost"
- *Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5* - Apostles baptized "in the name of Jesus Christ / Lord Jesus"

*Revelation:* Father, Son, Holy Ghost is not three names - it is *titles of ONE NAME which is JESUS.*
Father = Lord, Son = Jesus, Holy Ghost = Christ

So biblical baptism: *In the Name of Lord Jesus Christ* - fulfilling Matthew 28:19.

That is why at *Living Truth Restoration Assembly* we baptize in Jesus Name!

4. WHERE?
- Where there is *much water* - river, pool, baptismal tank
- Not in a cup!

5. WHO SHOULD BAPTIZE?
- A minister/disciples with authority - not just anyone
- *Matthew 28:19* - Go ye therefore and TEACH... baptizing them
- One who himself is baptized and living without blemish

6. IMMEDIATELY AFTER SALVATION
- Not waiting years. *Acts 2:41* - same day they were baptized
- *Acts 16:33* - Jailer baptized same night!

PRINCIPLES OF A GOOD AND SOLID CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION.
Many people want to be good believers but without first building a strong Christian foundation.
These are very good steps to build your foundation as a curious christian;

*1. SALVATION & NEW BIRTH - The Beginning*
- *John 3:3* - "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God"
- *2 Corinthians 5:17* - New creature in Christ
- *Romans 10:9-10* - Confess and believe for salvation
- *Ephesians 2:8-9* - Saved by grace through faith

*2. WORD OF GOD - The Blueprint*
- *Matthew 7:24-27* - Wise man built on the rock (the Word)
- *Psalm 119:105* - Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
- *Joshua 1:8* - Meditate on the Word day and night
- *2 Timothy 3:16-17* - All scripture profitable for doctrine

*3. PRAYER & FASTING - Communication & Power*
- *Matthew 6:6* - Pray in secret, Father rewards openly
- *Matthew 17:21* - This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting
- *1 Thessalonians 5:17* - Pray without ceasing
- *Jeremiah 33:3* - Call unto me and I will answer

*4. HOLINESS & PURITY - Without Blemish*
- *1 Peter 1:15-16* - Be ye holy for I am holy
- *Hebrews 12:14* - Follow holiness without which no man shall see the Lord
- *2 Corinthians 7:1* - Perfecting holiness in fear of God
- *Romans 12:1-2* - Present your bodies a living sacrifice

*5. FAITH & OBEDIENCE*
- *Hebrews 11:6* - Without faith impossible to please God
- *James 2:17* - Faith without works is dead
- *Luke 11:28* - Blessed are they that hear the Word and keep it

*6. LOVE & UNITY IN THE BODY*
- *John 13:35* - By this shall all men know ye are my disciples, if ye love one another
- *Ephesians 4:3* - Endeavouring to keep unity of the Spirit
- *1 Corinthians 12:12-27* - We are one body in Christ

*7. PERSECUTION & ENDURANCE*
