RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 20TH JUNE. http://bit.ly/2dZqtLQ

PROVE THE WORD.

…prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts… (Malachi 3:10).

God gave us His Word so we can live by it. The Word of God has the capacity and ability to take you through any situation in life victoriously. Isaiah 43:2 says, “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” However, you have a responsibility to prove the Word; to work out the Word in your life.

Too many Christians go through life struggling and suffering, when they ought to be living in the transcendental blessings that have been made available to us in Christ Jesus. The reason for this is either because they’re ignorant or just won’t put the Word to work. You hear of a Christian who was so sick until he died, and some would say, “Well, sickness comes to everybody.” No, that’s not true! Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….” Ignorance is the bane of many.

It’s either we’re Christians in truth or we’re not. It’s either what we believe works or it doesn’t. If it doesn’t, what are we doing with it? If it works (and thank God it does), then let’s keep “working” it. Something you must do for yourself is to prove the Word of God in your own life. That way, you can neither be deceived nor miss your way in life. You have to know for yourself that the Gospel of Christ that you’ve believed is real.

God isn’t afraid to be put on the spot. Dare to take Him at His Word. He said in Malachi 3:10, “…prove me now herewith….” A lot of people don’t understand that their blessings aren’t in God’s hands, but it’s in their own hands, because Jesus already did everything needed for you to be superabundantly blessed. For example, the whole world has been saved by Jesus, because He died for everybody, but it’s only those who hear about it, believe it, accept and confess His Lordship, that receive salvation.

If you hear the Word and don’t act on it, it’ll not work, no matter how much that Word inspires you. You must take the next necessary step of acting accordingly for it to produce results in your life.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the power of your Word and its ability to take me through life victoriously. I’m a doer of the Word of God! As I look into the Word, I’m transfigured into the realities that I see; pictures and visions of glory, success and excellence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
James 1:22-25 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Still on the matter...
......

Psalms 121:1-8 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

MEDITATION (3)

Joshua 1:8 It is God's desire that doing the Word is our 1st nature; only nature; 1st prompting; Only prompting. That doing the Word is the most natural thing to do; the one and only response to any stimuli (external or internal). Then, and only then, shall we live in good success.

"How blessed are those who reject the advice of the wicked, don't stand on the way of sinners
or sit where scoffers sit!
Their delight is in the Lord's Word; on His Word they meditate day and night.
They are like trees planted by streams—
they bear their fruit in season,
their leaves never wither,
everything they do succeeds". ~ Psalm 3:1-3 (complete Jewish bible)

Here is what the Lord says:
"...the person who trusts in humans,
who relies on merely human strength,
whose heart turns away from the Lord...will be like a tamarisk in the (desert) — when relief comes, (he) is unaffected; for (he) lives in the sun-baked desert, in salty, uninhabited land.
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord;
the Lord will be his security.
He will be like a tree planted near water; it spreads out its roots by the river; it does not notice when heat comes; and its FOLIAGE is LUXURIANT; it is not anxious in a year of drought but keeps on yielding fruit". ~ Jeremiah 17:5-8 (complete Jewish bible)

Philippians 2:1 If you've gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care -
Philippians 2:2 then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends.
Philippians 2:3 Don't push your way to the front; don't sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead.
Philippians 2:4 Don't be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.
Philippians 2:5 Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself.
Philippians 2:6 He had equal status with God but didn't think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter what.
Philippians 2:7 Not at all. When the time came, he set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human!
Philippians 2:8 Having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn't claim special privileges. Instead, he lived a selfless, obedient life and then died a selfless, obedient death - and the worst kind of death at that: a crucifixion.
Philippians 2:9 Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything, ever,
Philippians 2:10 so that all created beings in heaven and on earth - even those long ago dead and buried - will bow in worship before this Jesus Christ,
Philippians 2:11 and call out in praise that he is the Master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father.

PASTOR CHRIS TEACHING

BE FOCUSED

I remember vividly, in 1999, we were having a prayer and fasting meeting, and the Spirit of God said something to me which I was to take with me in my journey through life; He said to me, ‘don’t look around’. I picked it immediately in my spirit that He wanted me focused, and not to look around. He didn’t want me looking around, trying to measure or compare myself with others.
Same thing I’ll say to you today; don’t look around; stay focused. When you are focused, God can channel His blessings to you in a remarkable way because you are in line with His calling and purpose for your life. Some people get confused in their lives because they look away from the path God has laid for them, and into other people’s assignments and calling.
How many meetings did Jesus have with John the Baptist? Wasn’t it the same God that sent both Jesus and John? How come Jesus didn’t look for ways to bring John into his ministry and start collaborating with him, except when John was to baptize him, after which there was no other meeting?
Jesus was focused, so stay focused. If you are sent to a city, you are there to take the whole city. Everyone else may be angry; they might even say, ‘these Christ Embassy people, they act as if they are the only ones’. Well, we were not told to find out what others are doing; we were told what we are to do, and we should be about it without looking around. That’s the way you should live and carry out your ministerial work. Be very focused.

GREAT FAITH STORY OF THE WOMAN BEHIND PASTOR CHRIS' VISIT TO ZIMBABWE

The woman behind the establishment of Christ Embassy in Zimbabwe and its founder's visit is a person of great faith. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome hosts a Global Communion and Worship Service at the National Sports Stadium this afternoon.
More than a decade ago, Pastor Ruth Musarurwa, who is now zonal leader for Christ Embassy Zimbabwe, started a cell group in Zimbabwe for the Nigeria-headquartered church after taking heed of Pastor Chris’ message.
At that time, she was a member of a different church and in need of a personal miracle. Desperate for a solution, she believed the message as she watched Pastor Chris declaring healing on television.
That she would ever have a personal encounter with Pastor Chris, let alone lead one of his church branches seemed like a far-fetched thought then.
“One night I sat down to watch TV. I was looking for what were my favourite movies then, Crime series. As I scrolled, I saw this man dressed in white talking about Jesus. As soon as I saw him, there was a quickening in my spirit,” she said in reference to Pastor Chris’ broadcast from Lagos, Nigeria.
“I did not know what was happening to me, but he made a call for salvation and right there I responded and did the prayer with him. He then gave a word of knowledge about someone that had a limp on their right leg.
“I had a limp for over 15 years and it had become a part of me. When the man in white mentioned my case, I stretched out my hand and I thought I had passed out.
“I didn’t realize then that it was the anointing of the Holy Ghost that had passed through my body. When I became conscious of my surroundings, there was another programme showing.
“I only realized that I had been born again and healed on that night a week later when I was trying to seat down at a function. Someone shouted, ‘Do you realize that you no longer have a limp?’
“During this time, there was a sudden urge for something missing, but I didn’t know what it was.
“All I knew was that it had something to do with the man in white that I had seen on television. My children and I began to search for that man on television for three weeks until we found him again. I then took details and got in touch with Loveworld TV in South Africa. I found out that the man in white was our man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome,” Pastor Musarurwa said.
Her desire to be connected to this pastor pushed her to board a Chigubhu owned bus en-route to Lagos, Nigeria. Even the breaking down of the bus could not deter her from her mission.
“I boarded a Chigubhu owned bus and it broke down on the way, but still I went looking for him. When I went to the first service I told myself, ‘This message must be heard back home’. Pastor (Chris) was speaking in church in Lagos and in his message he said when you go back start cell groups.
“That is when I took the first Rhapsody. I had never preached in my life but I started a cell group,” said Pastor Musarurwa.
Within two months of this encounter, she had left her old church, where she had been “baptised, confirmed and had even been certified to wear the women’s traditional uniform after getting married”.
Having grown up in a religious family, the uniform was regarded as a visible stamp of how she was a true and spiritual Christian. But with the Lagos encounter, everything had taken a new twist.
Now the cell group was growing and required a properly trained pastor, at least that is what she thought.
“As the cell group was growing, I got in touch with Pastor Ken (Oyakhilome) and I told him that we needed a pastor. I had never preached, even in Ruwadzano (at her old church). I was very focused on works and attended every wedding, funeral or gathering that I could. So I learnt to preach through listening to Pastor Chris’ messages,” she said.
More than a decade later, Christ Embassy in Zimbabwe now has 138 assemblies.
And its leader, Pastor Chris, has described Pastor Musarurwa as a woman of great faith.
“He said, ‘You are a woman of great faith. Strong faith draws men of God. Because you have drawn the men of God at such a time, it’s the spirit of God’. I have prayed for it, I have given my all and I am the one who went and asked,” she said, remembering the day she screamed in her office when Pastor Chris confirmed he would be coming to Zimbabwe.
Close to 190 000 people were recorded to have registered for today’s Global Communion and Worship Service through Christ Embassy’s online platforms by last Thursday.
It all began with a leap of faith from one woman who needed a personal miracle.
And after such an experience, Pastor Musarurwa encouraged people not to undermine the power of belief, even when God’s message is delivered on television.
“His coming means the word of God is being fulfilled. God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ever imagine or think according to the power. Before ministry I was a farmer, a busy woman, I left everything.
“A lot of people criticise miracles. I never believed in miracles until I needed one. It is difficult to believe in a miracle until you yourself need one. So people should be expectant, anything is possible.
“We are not only inviting Christians but everybody, mainly those who are yet to receive Christ. For someone to receive Christ is a greater miracle than being healed or standing from a wheelchair. So people should come believing, trusting God,” she said.
Pastor Musarurwa said Pastor Chris respects other men of God.
“Our pastor is friends with everybody, hence we do not speak ill of other men of God. The harvest is plenty in Zimbabwe and we are mainly targeting the unconverted. We invite everybody to come for the holy communion service,” she said.
There seemed to be anxiety during the week, with social media messages suggesting that other church leaders had cancelled their Sunday services to attend the Communion and Worship Service.ZIMBABWE

FAITH PRINCIPLE IN PRAYER
“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” (Matthew 21:22)

“I’ve prayed and prayed; I’ve even gotten other people to pray for me, yet my situation hasn’t changed.” This is the frustrated cry of many today who think God answers prayers based on how long they’ve been praying, or the number of people they have praying for them. It’s good to pray, for the Word asks us to and shows us how, but the power that works for us is not in the praying, but in the God to whom we pray. Thus it’s important for you to know how to pray aright and understand the faith principle in prayer.

James 5:15 says, “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up…” Notice it says, “The prayer of faith shall save the sick” He lets us in on the faith principle in prayer. The power to heal you isn’t just in the prayer, but your faith in God and in His Word.

So in prayer, you must pray the Word in faith, for the Word of God is the power of God. Jesus taught us how to pray faith-based prayers that produce results; He said, “Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24). Notice that Jesus’ emphasis in this scripture wasn’t on prayer but on the subject of faith. When you pray, you have to take a step further by believing you have received what you asked for – that’s the faith principle in prayer.

So if you prayed and you didn’t receive, it means you didn’t demonstrate your faith in the Word. Look at the Word and find out what it says about the situation you’re dealing with, and then pray in line with the Word. Having prayed believe that you’ve received. Don’t start watching to see whether the condition has changed; just keep rejoicing, knowing that you’ve received.

8TH MARCH.

I affirm that this is my month of Insight and God has granted me divine insight according to His riches in glory, to be strengthened with might by the Spirit in my inner man. Christ dwells in my heart by faith; and I am rooted and grounded in love, to comprehend with all Saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that I may always be filled with all the fullness of God. Hallelujah!

My life is constantly improved as I hearken to instructions and serve diligently with the things God has committed to my trust. I am what God says I am. I can do what He says I can do, and I have what He says I have. My faith is the evidence that everything God has said concerning me is my present-hour possession. I have a sound mind and I can do all things through Christ, who energizes me! The negative forces of this world have no power over me: though I live in this world, I am not of this world. I will never be a victim in life because God’s angels have gone ahead of me to make every crooked path straight. There’s no enchantment nor divinations against me. I affirm that I am an heir of salvation and God has given His angels charge over my life. Angels are at my service; therefore, today I charge them in the name of Jesus to go forth on my behalf and cause the Word of God to come to pass in my life. As I speak forth now, the ministering Spirits see to it that the words I speak comes to pass. I dispatch them in the name of Jesus, to speedily deliver to me the answers to my prayers and supplications which have already been answered by the Father. Glory to God!
