TOPIC: THE PRINCIPLE OF SEEDTIME HARVEST (PT 1)

A. INTRODUCTION
The law of seedtime and harvest is the law of life. It is irrevocable. It applies to every
living person on earth. It is a divine law. Just like the law of gravity, it operates whether
believe it or not. Every result in life is traceable to a seed.

B. THE ORIGIN OF THE PRINCIPLE
Established by God after the flood. Gen. 8:20-22. It is a covenant principle upon which
the earth is built. The law applies universally in every area of life, both spiritual and
physical. You cannot separate the harvest from the seed. The harvest is a product of the
seed.
C. WHAT IS SEED?
A seed is anything you release today that has the capacity to produce a future.
Types of Seeds:
a. Words (Proverbs 18:21)
b. Actions (Galatians 6:7)
c. Money (2 Corinthians 9:6)
d. Time and service
e. Relationships
The harvest is inside the seed.
D. THE LAW IS UNBREAKABLE
You can delay harvest, but you cannot cancel it. Negative seeds also produce harvest.
Ignorance does not exempt anyone. To sow negative seeds and expect a blessed harvest
is to deceive oneself. It is like mocking God. Gal. 6:7, 8.

E. The LAW OPERATES IN SEASONS
Seedtime is the sowing phase, waiting is the process phase, while harvest is the reward
phase. It is a big error to give up during the waiting phase.
F. CONCLUSION
In this month of seedtime and harvest, it is a time of self-examination. What type of
seed are you sowing? Remember your future is being planted now by the seeds you sow
