UGWOGO FOR CHRIST 2026

The Journey Begins Now.

We officially begin our campaign awareness, appeals, and prayers as we prepare for this December mission. This is more than a programme; it is a call to surrender, sacrifice, and service.

As we prepare, may God go before us, lead every step, provide every need, unite every heart, and make us instruments for His glory.

Prepare. Pray. Give. Go.

Ugwogo must hear the voice of Christ.

What happens when young men decide that their strength, time, gifts, and energy will be used for something greater than themselves?

You get men who are willing to go, serve, sacrifice, pray, and reach souls for the Kingdom.

These are not just men standing together. They are men standing for a cause, carrying a burden for souls and answering the call to make Christ known.

The question is not whether there is a mission. The mission is already before us.

The question is: Will you join us?

Milton Soldani Afonso passed away today at 104 years old, and the gospel reached places it never would have without him.

As a boy in Brazil, he sold homemade sweets in the street to help his family. He arrived at an Adventist school without money to pay tuition and made a promise: if he ever could, he would pay for the education of others. He kept it, tens of thousands of students had school fees paid by him, many without ever knowing his name.

At a time when no one was talking about media evangelism, Milton looked at what he had built and made a decision: these resources belong to the mission. In 1997 he donated the land for a media center in Brazil. What grew from that land became the Novo Tempo Communication Network, now broadcasting in Portuguese and Spanish to millions across South America. Milton was named Patron of Adventist Communication on the continent in 2012, for good reason.

On his 100th birthday, he said: "It is my life. I always dreamed that the church would have a strong communication vehicle, and I made it happen. It is a dream fulfilled."
That is the kind of faith that outlives a person.

The mission continues. The gospel of Jesus, through media, to the ends of the earth.
Amen?

They are university students and young male professionals who have chosen to dedicate their time, strength, skills and resources to the advancement of God’s work.

Beyond their classrooms, careers and personal ambitions, they are making themselves available for evangelism, service and mission wherever they are needed.

These young men are a reminder that you do not have to wait until you are older, established or fully settled before you can be useful in God’s hands. There is a place for every willing heart in the work of God.

They are learning, serving, sacrificing and growing together with one purpose: to take the Gospel to places where Christ must be heard.

This is more than a team.
This is a generation answering the call.

Young men. One mission. One purpose. All for Christ.

Now the question is: If God is calling you to serve, what is stopping you from answering?

👇 Tell us in the comments: “I AM AVAILABLE” if you are ready to be used by God.

WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER — THE MONTH OF UNPOPULAR PRAYERS!

May September bring you the kind of divine favour that will make people ask, “How did it happen?” May God open doors no man can shut, answer the prayers you have stopped talking about, and give you testimonies that will leave you with no shame, no regret, and no explanation but GOD!

May every plan of the enemy against your life, family, destiny and purpose scatter completely. May God turn your battles into victories, your tears into testimonies, and your waiting into a glorious announcement.

This month, you will not end September the way you entered it!

If you believe God will do something unusual for you this month, don't be shy about your faith.

TYPE AMEN! 🙏

WHEN SERVICE BECOMES SACRIFICE

Not every mission field gives you the luxury of modern gas cookers, electricity, or the conveniences we often take for granted. Sometimes, the work of ministry happens beside a wood fire, in simple surroundings, and with hands willing to serve.

Our meals during the mission were locally prepared, yet served with remarkable warmth, excellence, and abundance. God made it possible through the selfless service of Mrs. Chinyere Oden.

Today, we celebrate her. She did not allow kitchen duty to become a barrier to mission. While preparing meals for the workers, she was also reaching people, engaging the community, and witnessing for Christ.

She cooked with her hands, served with her heart, and witnessed with her life.

May God remember every sacrifice, every meal prepared, every fire tended, every person served, and every soul reached.

Mrs. Chinyere Oden, we celebrate you today. Your labour in the mission field was seen, felt, and deeply appreciated.

A PASTOR. A CHURCH APOSTLE. AND CONVERTS FROM THE CATHOLIC TRADITION JOINS THE SDA CHURCH.

The August Mission, UMUEZEALA FOR CHRIST 2026, has come to a glorious close, and we return all glory to God for a remarkable harvest of souls.

Labouring in Umuezeala was no ordinary assignment. In a community where Catholicism has been deeply woven into family identity, tradition, and generations of religious inheritance, presenting biblical truth demanded patience, prayer, perseverance, and faithful labour. Yet, the Word prevailed, hearts were convicted, and lives responded.

At the close of the mission, 16 non Adventists entered the waters of baptism, including a Pastor, a Church Apostle, and converts from the Catholic tradition. What a testimony of grace, conviction, and the transforming power of God's Word.

We profoundly appreciate our Sponsors, Missionaries, Preachers, Bible Workers, Medical Missionaries, Volunteers, Media and Technical Teams, Prayer Warriors, and everyone who contributed to this mission. Your sacrifices became instruments in the hands of God.

We are also grateful for the journey mercies and divine preservation granted throughout the mission. The meetings may have ended, but the work continues.

We laboured. We prayed. God gave the increase.

16 SOULS. A HARVEST OF GRACE.

TO GOD ALONE BE ALL THE GLORY.

THE CLIMAX IS HERE!
After days of worship, fellowship, and the preaching of the Gospel, we have come to the grand climax!
UMUEZELA FOR CHRIST!

What keeps a person faithful when compromise is easier? What makes suffering bearable when the reward remains unseen?
There is a certainty beyond the reach of the present, a reality that gives meaning to endurance.

Tonight, we explored that certainty.
Listen and discover what makes faith worth holding onto.
