He received Christ in 1990 while in high school through the work of the Christian body known as the Scripture Union (SU). In his days at high school, he was part of the evangelistic movement which led many of his peers to Christ. Three months after his high school diploma examination he lost his father to the cold hands of death. This event ushered his family into abject poverty but John never gav
e up, he continued to believe in the God who has promised to provide to them that ask of HIM. God promised to make a way for him to travel to the United States. Despite the adversities of poverty around him, he believed in the promise made to him by Jehovah Jireh. John traveled to the United States in the year 2000 as a youth. Unfortunately, few years after getting into the United States John abandoned the call on God in his life and decided to venture into international business. Like Jonah who was running away from answering the call of God, John learned his lesson the hard way and finally succumbed to the call of God.
