There is followership in the house of God.when ever you go to the house of God,followership must be your priority because without it there is no making or becoming. Beloved,your making is in followership .one critical reason why many attend church continually without any significant changes in their lives is because they are not followers but church goers. Note that church is a school.it is a school of the spirit where disciples are made....who are we to follow? We are to follow those whom the Lord has set over us in his house and not just anyone(Heb 13:7).
It is when we follow that we get trained and prepared for destiny.followership results to becoming. Those who follow end up becoming like the one they followed and those who don't follow never become anything.joshua followed Moses and end up becoming Israel's leader(Exo 33:11),Elisha followed and end up as the main prophet of his time.Beloved,are you following? Always that your making is in followership.shalom!!

Text: PSALM 31:21-22

I asked an ex-prisoner "How did the prison experience affect his life?.He answered that during his years of confinement God had taught him lessons that had prepared him for his life's work.But when I asked if he would like to go back to prison camp..he said"NO,GOD FORBID!'.
Most of us would not choose difficult circumstances to help us learn to trust God.so,in his perfect wisdom God often will lead us into situation that can strengthen our faith. According to our text, David discovered God's marvelous kindness while he was in the besieged city.when surrounded and cut off by enemies,he feared the worst,but God gave him strength and hope in verse 22.
God uses life's"prison" experience to teach us spiritual lessons we could learn in no other way. We can therefore praise and trust him in any situation.this was what king Jehoshaphat did when surrounded by enemies,and God gave him victory over them. Note: GOD USES OUR DOWN TIMES TO BUILD US UP.Our prayer always should be that Almighty should help us to praise and trust him even in our difficult times.SHALOM

Some people say, “Better be late, than never”, others say, “Better never that be late”. These assumptions are paramount in the attitudes of many Christians.
The word Lateness is not specifically mentioned in the Bible but there are circumstances in which people are delayed in their given assignment or appointment. The Bible has answers to every question one may ask.
The book of Second Samuel 20: 4-12 points out some dangers of lateness to assignment. Amasa was commanded by King David to fetch Sheba who was perceived as an enemy of David. Amasa left but could not return in the stipulated time of three days. Do you know what followed? He was replaced by Joab.

How often do people miss their flight or job interview? Because if they are not there on time, their chance of being attended to getting the job will elude them.
Our attitude towards our business, employment appointments and others are not the same compared to Church services. When you are late at Church, you
1. Show disrespect to God
2. Betrayal of Christ
3. Disregard to the Church and the Pastor
4. Interruption of an eternal program

You have always been late to Church. I know for sure that you will be the first person to arrive early to Church from today onwards. God bless. Shalom and Happy feast of Passover/unleavened bread.

God is giving us the secret to success in this verse. He wants us to succeed at whatever we do.According to the Bible, your success as a Christian is directly related to your relationship with God’s Word. Will power alone is not enough to cause you to live the Christian life. Sheer determination will only get you so far. You need the power of God’s Word working in your life.
Thinking of God’s Word as spiritual food has helped me better understand the crucial role the Word plays in our lives. I believe that many of the problems we face today in the church are caused by spiritual malnutrition and could be solved as we give the Word its’ proper place in our lives.The nutrients that the Word of God supplies are essential for your success. As you feed on the Word of God, it gets in you and when it does, healing, strength, wisdom and life comes out of the Word and goes into you.The Word of God is full of God. Jesus is called the Word made flesh, so the Bible would be God in words. When you read the Word you are feasting on spiritual food. Jesus said, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. (Matt 4:4).Jeremiah found great joy in finding and eating God’s Words and so can we. In Joshua and the Psalms we are told that meditating on the Word day and night is the key to success.
There are many creative ways to get your daily recommended allowance of God’s Word without taking up any more time. The person who meditates on God’s Word day and night will make their way prosperous and have good success. This means the results are well worth the effort!

FIRST SABBATH OF FEBRUARY 2021
Sabbath school message.

Text: Matthew 28:19-20.

Baptism is a sign of belonging to the new people of God, the true Israel, and an emblem of burial and cleansing, signifying death to the old life of unbelief, and purification from the pollution of sin.five parts of that affirmation are:-
=>First, “We believe that baptism is an ordinance of the Lord . . .” What we mean by this is that the Lord Jesus commanded it — he ordained it: in a way that would make it an ongoing practice of the church. We find this most explicitly in Matthew 28:19-20.
=>Second, baptism “expresses union with Christ in His death and resurrection.” The clearest teaching on this is Romans 6:3–4: Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
=>Third, the expression of union with Christ in death and resurrection happens “by being immersed in water.” The clearest evidence for this is Romans 6:3–4 which describes the act of baptism as burial and rising from the dead. This is most naturally understood to mean that you are buried under water and then come out of from the water to signify rising from the grave.
=>Fourth, baptism means doing this immersing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. That’s what Jesus said in Matthew 28:19: . This means that not just any immersing is baptism.There is a holy appeal to God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit to be present in this act and make it true and real in what it says about their work in redemption. Note:- There is no salvation without the Father.
=>Fifth, baptism is an expression of faith and therefore only for believers. It is not something that an unbeliever can do.It is not something than an infant can do.SHALOM
