PECULIAR SISTERS 2026 — A CONFERENCE TO REMEMBER 🌹

The Peculiar Sisters Conference 2026 has come to a successful close, and we are grateful to God for a truly impactful time.

Under the theme “Peculiar Sisters — Created Unto Every Good Work” (Ephesians 2:10), sisters gathered for a refreshing time of God’s Word, worship, fellowship, meaningful conversations, drama, games and practical skill sessions.
Beyond the activities, the conference was a reminder that being peculiar is not merely about being different — it is about knowing who we are in Christ, understanding our purpose, and becoming women prepared for every good work God has called us to.

The conference also featured practical skill sessions in Gele, Zara Cap and Turban styling, Liquid Soap Making, and Video Editing, equipping sisters with knowledge that can be useful beyond the programme.

This conference was made possible by the prayers, sacrifices, service, generosity and commitment of many people.

To every sister who showed up, every hand that served, every person who gave, prayed, taught, encouraged or supported this vision — thank you.
And above all, we return all the glory to God.

The programme may be over, but our prayer is that the Word received, lessons learned and seeds sown will continue to bear fruit in the lives of every sister.

On the first full day, after an amazing morning devotion, we launched into preparation and made everything ready as fast as possible, but the weather had its own plan, or maybe we should say God planned something different. It rained from about 8am till around 2pm. Some of our leaders we drenched trying to find a quick solution....lols

At about 2:20pm we kick-started the medical outreach and used every means to publicies the commencement of the outreach, including telling students to inform thier parent we've started. The people started coming and we had an amazing time with our medical team attending to them.

It started with deep and united hearts in prayers, knocking on heaven's gate for mercy and access. The Lord came through for us and we lunched out on the journey to Isialangwa. We arrived at the village around 10:30pm after several attempt to locate the exact entrance to our lodge (village lodge...lols). It was fun. The experience for many that night was more or less mixed feeling as the air, darkness and silence felt awkward at some point....lols.

We settled in and started prayers for about an hour, 30 mins before retiring to bed. Then we woke up with the Lord's song for the day, had our devotions and started preparation for the first day.
