*TOPIC: SUPERNATURAL DEMONSTRATION*
*THURSDAY 15TH APRIL, 2021*
*Meditation:*
*“For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.”(1 Corinthians 2:2)*
*Today’s Text: 1 Corinthians 2:1-16:*
The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is a message of power. Wherever the gospel is there is power. When there is no power, it is not the gospel. When there is a determination to know nothing but the crucified Christ there is always a result. Determination to preach nothing else but Christ, that’s the gospel. Why was Jesus crucified? Why did He come down? As we determine and set our hearts on this, we will discover that there would be a demonstration in our lives. Verse 4 of that scripture says, “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power” It was not in much eloquence or philosophy. Paul was preaching Christ and Him crucified and that’s our focus.
The demonstration and manifestation of the Holy Spirit is the issue here. When the Holy Spirit is in manifestation anything can happen, power is evident, healing is manifested, salvation comes to man and deliverance is there. When the Holy Ghost is there, character is formed, holiness is there, everything about God is embedded in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and one can open his heart to receive in any area of his life where there is need-physical needs, emotional needs and financial needs. A manifestation of the Holy Spirit and the power of God settles everything.
Paul said, I am determined to just stay on Jesus and Him alone crucified because that’s where the power is. The power is not in eloquence or grammar. It is in Christ and Him crucified. That’s where the spirit is manifested. As I speak the word of God, there is a stirring going on in your mind, why? It is the word of God coming forth and the word of God is life. The word of God carries healing and anointing. The word of God breaks down every stronghold. Jesus was speaking and said, “These words I am speaking to you, they are spirit and they are life.” So, as you read this, you are assimilating the spirit of God, the very life of God. The word of God is not ordinary. As it comes forth, life comes forth. It is the word of God, it is not ordinary. It is not about the preacher, it is about the word of God that is God Himself doing something inside of you.

*1.Pray for evidence of the supernatural all around you so that the world may know that you serve a living God.*

*Dear Lord, as I study your word I assimilate your very spirit and my life is transformed.*
