‎BE A BLESSING

‎Today's Scripture
‎And don’t allow yourselves to be weary in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you’ve planted is coming! [10] Take advantage of every opportunity to be a blessing to others, especially to our brothers and sisters in the family of faith! - Galatians 6:9-10 (TPT).

‎Are you a blessing? Do you go out of your way to do good to people? Or have you shut up your bowels of mercy because of ingrates - those you helped who never returned to show gratitude or worse still, who paid you back with evil? Don't let that bother you much for they were never meant to reward you, it's God that blesses the one who does good.

‎In our focal Scripture, we are encouraged not to be tired or weary in doing good things. We are told to take advantage of every opportunity to be good to people, to be a blessing, especially to our precious Christian brothers and sisters. So, make up your mind to do good wherever you find yourself everyday. Lift people's burdens and make life easier for them whenever you meet them. By so doing, you will be heaping up blessings for yourself and at the appointed time, you will reap a bountiful harvest of God's goodness.

‎A Prayer for Today
‎Thank You Lord Jesus for the opportunities to be a blessing that are all around me everyday. Help me to cash in on them so I get blessed in return. In Jesus' name.

‎Good morning and have a blessed day!

Meditation during prayers is a powerful practice that enriches your spiritual experience. Prayer is often seen as talking to God, where you express your thoughts, desires, and gratitude. However, meditation allows you to shift from speaking to listening. It creates a quiet space where you can tune into God's guidance and deepen your awareness. By calming the mind, meditation enables you to hear subtle messages, feel divine presence, and cultivate inner peace. This balance between speaking and listening strengthens your connection with God, bringing clarity, insight, and a deeper sense of spiritual fulfillment. Meditation helps you align your heart and mind, making your prayers more meaningful and your relationship with God more profound.

‎YOU ARE BLESSED!

‎Today's Scripture
‎Psalms 84:5a, 7a (KJV) Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee... They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

‎Oh! Thank You Lord for my strength is in You and I cannot be weak or weary because my strength is renewed as the eagle's as long as I wait upon You as I appear in Zion. This is the heritage of the Lord's children.

‎When you don't depend on yourself, but thrust yourself to the Almighty God, the Bible pronounces you blessed (happy and to be envied)!

‎Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

‎The way to run is to wait upon the Lord. If you want to be full of strength for the journey ahead of you and accomplish much more than your human strength allows, stay in the presence of the Lord for as long as possible. Don't wake up in the morning and take off like a tornado because what you have to do is enormous. The greater and more difficult your activities, the more time you need to spend with God so you receive the inner strength you need for success to happen. Learn to stay with God from today and you will see the difference.

‎A Prayer for Today
‎Thank You dear Lord for my strength is in You. You make my way easy and prosperous as you furnish me with the inner strength and wisdom necessary to navigate my life journey. Help me to receive the staying power as I come into Your presence. In Jesus' name!

‎Good morning and have a blessed weekend!

‎JESUS HIMSELF TOOK YOUR INFIRMITIES

‎Today's Scripture
‎Jesus Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses – Matthew 8:17.

‎Infirmity is a state of being weak in health or in body as a result of old age. You can now see that sicknesses, diseases or old age can make one weak. But whether your weakness is as a result of sickness, disease or old age is out of the question. The important thing is that Jesus Christ bore them all.

‎The question is, "If Jesus Christ bore them all, why are believers still weak and sick and some even die from sicknesses?" Sometimes it's unbelief. Sometimes it's lack of knowledge of the Scriptures. Jesus said, "You do err because you know not the Scriptures or the power of God" - Matthew 22:29. Search the Scriptures and meditate on them.

‎When Jesus died, resurrected and ascended, it was all because of our salvation and salvation is a full package. If your soul is saved, your body should be saved, too. Is the devil in a battle with your health and life? That's because you are fully loaded, you carry something that when unleashed, will be a nightmare to him and his kingdom. So, don't let him continue to keep you weak and sick or cut short your life. Rise up and contend with him and sn**ch your life out of his wicked grip; it's a battle you cannot afford to lose.

‎Today's Prayer
‎Thank You Lord for bearing my infirmities and sicknesses. I rise up today, knowing that I am totally healed and set free. In Jesus' name!

‎Good morning and have a blessed day.

WHAT A LOVE!

Today's Scripture
Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. John 12:3 (KJV).

What are you willing to sacrifice for your Saviour and Lord? What sacrifice are you making as a matter of covenant? Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. Psalms 50:5 (KJV). The Christian life should be characterized by sacrifice that is performed on a regular basis and it must cost one something. A sacrifice acceptable to God must be qualitative and without defects.

In our anchor Scripture, Mary broke a bottle of very costly perfume and anointed Jesus' feet and wiped them with her hair, which is one of the most cherished part of a woman's body. Research shows that, that perfume is worth a year's wages, as in one's salary for one year, put together. Mary was trying to show Jesus how much she loved him and how dear and close He was to her heart.

What are you willing to start doing or stop doing for the sake of the One Who died for you? What are you willing to sacrifice for the Shepherd and Bishop of your soul? What do you have that you can afford to let go of, on account of your love for Him? I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service - Romans 12:1 (KJV). If you could sacrifice your life, what can't you possibly give Him, knowing that all that you have is His? - Psalms 50:10-12.

A Prayer for Today
Lord, I yield my life as a living sacrifice and I make a vow to not withhold any possession of mine, no matter how priced it is. In Jesus' Name.

Good morning and have a blessed day!

THE LORD DOES NOT GROW TIRED OR WEARY

Today's Scripture
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary; His understanding is beyond searching out. Isaiah 40:28 (BSB).

When the Bible said in Genesis 2:2 that God finished the work of creation and on the seventh day, rested from all His works, it's not suggestive of God getting tired and needing refreshing and reinvigoration. It's using human language to drive home a point.

God is a worker and man is created to work. That's why the first assignment given to Adam was to keep the Garden of Eden. Man and animals become tired after some time of labouring and working. They're not wired to continue working endlessly and tirelessly. So, they must rest at the end of the day's work. That's why God created the night, otherwise, some people will work round the clock, until they slump and die from exhaustion. But the Lord Who created man in such a way that he rests to refresh, never grows tired or weary.

Psalms 62:11 (KJV) God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. You may have heard so many testimonies of the different and multidimensional manifestations of God and you ask, "has God grown tired of showing up in the challenges I face?" You are not alone in this, Child of God.

Gideon saw himself in such a situation when the people of Israel were being troubled by the Midianites. He went to thresh wheat in a winepress when suddenly an angel showed up and announced that the Lord was with him. He asked the Angel and said, "If the Lord is with us, why have all these befallen us, where are all his miracles which our fathers told us about?" - Judges 6:12-13.

Truly, the Lord does not grow tired or weary and He is full of power. Your problem does not intimidate Him, neither is it greater than He can grapple with. If you will stay in faith and focus on Him prayerfully, He will soon intimidate and terrorize that person or problem that is challenging your God to a fight.

A Prayer for Today
Oh, how I love You my Lord and King! You're the all-powerful One and will show up in my life, sooner than later. In Jesus' Name.

Good morning and have a blessed week!

HE IS THE GOD OF THE LIVING

Today's Scripture
He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err. Mark 12:27 (KJV).

God has no business with the dead; He's the God of the living. In Luke 24:1-6, after Jesus resurrected from the dead, some women went to the sepulchre very early in the morning with spices, to anoint His body. To their surprise, the stone was rolled away and the tomb empty. They were perplexed and sore afraid. In that state, two angels showed up and asked them saying, "why are you looking for the living among the dead?" We serve a living God. Hallelujah! Our God is alive forever!

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:18 (KJV). Yes, our God is forever alive. He dwells in the land of the living and cannot be found among the dead. That is why He is with us everywhere and at all times. Child of God, your God and Father is alive! That's why whenever two or three are gathered together in His Name, He's in their midst - Matthew 18:20.

God is alive and you are alive. It's a great privilege to be in the land of the living. Take advantage of this opportunity while it lasts. Endeavour to have multiple encounters with Him and press into Him for supernatural experiences; get to see and know His different dimensions. Enjoy Him here as much as possible. Don't let the devil talk you into believing that you've gotten to the highest height in Him. My beloved, there is more in God! Be lost in Him, be more hungry and thirsty for Him; press more and more into Him and He will manifest as the living God to you, His living child.

A Prayer for Today
Lord Jesus, I declare again and again that You are the living God and the God of the living. Give me the privilege of real and solid supernatural experiences as I earnestly seek You. In Jesus' Name.

Good morning and have a blessed day!

THERE'S NO LOSS IN CHRIST

Today's Scripture
For to me, to live is Christ [He is my source of joy, my reason to live] and to die is gain [for I will be with Him in eternity]. Philippians 1:21 (AMP).

There's no loss in Christ Jesus. There's no regret in Him. It's all gain, a win-win situation. Jesus satisfies. It pays to serve Jesus. He doesn't owe anyone; He pays as and when due. Just serve Him wholeheartedly and unreservedly and your pay check here and hereafter, will be fatter than you ever imagined.

Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. Mark 10:28-30 (KJV). The Lord knows those who are His and knows all their sacrifices for His sake and for the Kingdom of God and He will reward commensurately at the appropriate time.

In our anchor Scripture, Paul said for him to live meant ample opportunities to preach Christ and to die meant standing in the Presence of Christ, for Whom he had suffered the loss of all things. In Philippians 3:4-8, Apostle Paul enumerated his credentials but said they're worthless in the light of his pursuit of Christ and in view of the reward he would receive at last from Him.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 (KJV). Child of God, our God is a faithful Rewarder of those that diligently seek Him and He pays well.

A Prayer for Today
Thank You my Father because You're a faithful Rewarder of those who serve You well. I will not stop on the way knowing that my reward is great. In Jesus' Name.

Good morning and have a blessed week!

MEDITATE ON THE WORD AND BE WISE

Today's Scripture
O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts. Psalms 119:97-100 (KJV).

Many believers don't understand the importance of reading, studying and meditating on the Word of God and so, they either do not read it or read it as an ordinary newspaper. No wonder the degree of powerlessness manifested by believers.

Child of God, you must study it to draw closer to God, get your mind renewed, think in terms of Scriptures and become an exact image of Christ. Jesus studied and meditated on the Word to the extent that it became His weapon of warfare against the devil and with it, He won every battle the devil came against Him, with - Matthew 4:1-11.

The Word of God will make you wiser than your enemies. They will be coming at you with different carnal war tools, but with the Word of God applied in faith, you will quench all their fiery darts. Your war strategies and weapons, will make them dazed because they can't understand, or match it. Finally, they will conclude that this wicked man or woman is confusing people with the Bible, he or she is a wizard or witch. They can't decipher the kind of heavy-duty "charms" you use against them because all powers are not the same. The power of God is greater than all the powers of the devil put together.

Hallelujah! I'm glad I belong to the greatest and most powerful "cult" in the whole universe. That's the cult of our Lord Jesus Christ. Oh, child of God, read, study and meditate on the Word day and night, let it become a part and parcel of your being and no witch, wizard, necromancer, sorcerer etcetera, can stand you.

The word of God will give you more understanding than your teachers because of the Spirit of understanding inherent in it. They're your teachers, yes but instead of teaching you, you teach them because the understanding of the Lord is in you. Daniel was summoned by Belteshazzer, son of Nebuchadnezzer when all the employed wise men of Babylon failed to interpret the handwriting on the Wall, because the Spirit of the Holy One was in Him. And he gave an accurate interpretation. Child of God, you will be outstanding because of an in-depth knowledge of the Word.

It is said that Ancient is wisdom. But it's not true if the ancients are standing face to face with a believer who is a custodian of the Word. You will have more understanding than the ancients. Jesus would always go to teach the Word of God in the temple and His level of knowledge and understanding of the Word will amaze the ancient teachers of the Law. It is the Word of God that makes us wise. Let's embrace it today, more than ever before.

A Prayer for Today
Oh, how I love Your Word, oh Lord! It's sweeter than honey! I will walk in it, I will dwell in it until I become one with the Spirit of it. In Jesus' Name.

Good morning and have a blessed worship experience!

MERCY IS LOOKING FOR YOU

Today's Scripture
And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake? 2 Samuel 9:1 (KJV).

My beloved Child of God, mercy is looking for you and today, mercy will locate you, in the Name of Jesus!

In 2 Samuel 4, after the death of King Saul and Jonathan, all remaining members of Saul's house, ran for their dear lives, for fear of being exterminated by the incoming King. Mephibosheth, Jonathan's son was five years old at the time. As his nurse carried him and ran for safety, he fell down and became lame in his two feet. He was now taken to Lodeber, where he grew up, married, had children and remained in oblivion.

Before this time, David and Jonathan were covenant friends and Jonathan told David that he knew that God would make him the King of Isreal after his father, Saul and made David to swear to him that he would not forget his family when God lifts him up and David did. Long after David began to reign as King in Isreal, he remembered his vow to Jonathan and in our anchor Scripture, he was looking for a remnant of the house of Saul so he would show him kindness for the sake of Jonathan. They answered that Jonathan had a lame son called Mephibosheth and he asked them to go fetch him. When he arrived, he collected everything Saul had which his servant, Ziba had already taken and was using, gave them all to Mephibosheth, asked Ziba to serve him and told Mephibosheth to remain in his house as one of his sons, and added that he would eat from his table continually till he dies.

Today, the God of Heaven and Earth, your Father, wants to show you mercy for the sake of Christ. You may not look like it, you may not be qualified for it, but you are the one He's looking for. You. Yes, you because the Blood of Jesus has qualified you. Mephibosheth was lame and not qualified to be seen in the King's Palace going by the Law at the time but mercy qualified him.

God has prepared a banquet for you and has brought you into His banqueting house because His banner over you is love - Song of Solomon 2:4. You might have been in obscurity but don't worry, mercy has come looking for you, mercy has found you and mercy has brought you to the limelight! Hallelujah!

A Prayer for Today
Thank You Lord for mercy has found me, qualifying me to dine with You all the days of my life as a Son. This is my eternal heritage. In Jesus' Name.

Good morning and have a blessed day!

‎STRENGTH IN THE MIDST OF WEAKNESS

‎Today's Scripture
‎And Ephraim’s people will be like mighty men, and their heart will rejoice as if with wine; yes, their children will see it, and be glad. Their heart will rejoice in the LORD - Zechariah 10:7

‎There is no one in Zion that is a weakling. That is why the weak will always declare that he is strong - Joel 3:10.

‎The men of the Northern kingdom of Israel, represented by Ephraim, were once weak but God in our focal Scripture promises to return to them with restoration of strength, making them mighty men who go out conquering their enemies of all magnitudes. Their hearts will rejoice because of this and it will be a generational experience as their children will also be partakers to it.

‎Which area of your life are you weak? The Lord promises to strengthen you in that area. Surrender it to Him. Acknowledge the fact that you are weak and give it to Him to exchange with His strength and you will come back refreshed, renewed and totally restored. That is how you go from strength to strength accomplishing unimaginable feats for the Lord.

‎A Prayer for Today
‎Thank You Lord Jesus Christ for You are my strength when I am weak. Help me to lean on Your everlasting arms so I can do the humanly impossible. In Jesus' name.

‎Good morning and have a blessed week!

Divine Focus and Precision

In life, God's focus on us is both intimate and precise. Matthew 10:29-33 reminds us that even the smallest sparrow is under His care, and we are of much greater value. He knows every detail of our lives, and this divine precision guides us through every challenge. Psalm 18:30-40 highlights how God’s ways are perfect and His strength unshakable, offering us the precision and strength we need to overcome obstacles. Just as He protects and equips us, we are called to trust in His perfect guidance and live with the focus that aligns with His will, knowing He is always watching over us.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your perfect focus and care over my life. Help me to trust in Your precise guidance and remain focused on Your will. Give me the strength to overcome all challenges with Your help. Amen.
