From Penang to Kelantan

We wish to inform that Venerable Javana will be leaving Island Glades Meditation Centre, Penang on the morning of 20 July (Monday) after breakfast dāna.

Bhante will be heading back to his home base at Bukit Kecil Meditation Centre in Temangan, Kelantan.

With much gratitude and appreciation in our hearts, we thank Bhante for sharing the Dhamma and guiding practitioners in the practice for the past five weeks at Island Glades Meditation Centre. Sadhu anumodana.

Ven. Javana to Penang ~ Tuesday, 16 June 2026

Dear friends
Namo Buddhaya.

Venerable Javana will be leaving Peel Road temple, KL for Island Glades Meditation Centre in Penang on Tuesday, 16 June after breakfast dāna.

Monday night, 15 June will be the last night of meditation practice in KL.

With much joy and gratitude in our hearts, we thank Bhante for guiding us in meditation practice and Dhamma learning.

Wishing Bhante and devotees a safe and pleasant trip to Penang.

Offering of Meals (Dāna)

Dear friends
Namo Buddhaya.

Let us set aside some of our time to practise generosity ~ dāna. Opportunities arise for us to practise this pārami by offering meals dāna to Venerable Javana from 3 June (Wednesday) onwards.

Breakfast dāna is at 7.30am and lunch dāna is at 11am.

Kindly bring cooked vegetarian food and fruits/desserts 30 minutes before dāna time.

Ven. Javana to KL ~ 2 June, 2026 (Tues)

Dear friends
Namo Buddhaya and Happy Wesak next week.

We are very happy to share that Venerable Javana will be arriving at Peel Road temple, KL in the evening of 2 June (Tuesday). Nightly meditation practice will start henceforth.

Cleaning of temple
The Buddha taught that generosity is the first of 10 pāramis. Giving of time and effort is a meritorious deed. We encourage you to help clean the temple premises on 1 June (Monday) from 9.30am onwards.

We are indeed blessed and thankful that Bhante is still making the long journey from Kelantan to come to KL to guide us on the Dhamma's path. Let us reflect on this blessing and strive to practise well in order to cultivate wiser, more skillful mental states in our daily life.

On 21 March, Dhamma friends in Ipoh had the joyful opportunity to offer lunch dāna to Venerable Javana, while Bhante was on his way to Penang.

We rejoice in everyone’s sincere effort. Through these simple yet meaningful acts, we continue to cultivate dāna, sīla, and bhāvanā together on the path.

【Ven. Javana to Penang ~ Saturday, 21 March 2026】

Dear friends,
Namo Buddhaya.

Venerable Javana often reminds us:
“Time does not wait for people; people wait for time.”

May this gentle reminder encourage us to cherish the precious opportunity to learn and practise the Dhamma, and to spend time with a good teacher while the conditions are still present.

Venerable Javana will be travelling to Island Glades Meditation Centre, Penang on Saturday, 21 March, after breakfast dāna in KL.

20 March will be the last night of meditation practice at Peel Road Temple, KL.

We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to Bhante for his compassion in guiding us on our Dhamma learning journey.
